Iv decided the orange wheels will be for road/drag an i will get some wider wheels for track,

what wheels??!!! not sure what ET i should be going for either :S

Petesab 03-03-2011 10:23 PM

Petesab 06-03-2011 10:00 PM

lol, whats wrong with the finish lol ;) Pm sent mate!

2-jaffacake-tone 06-03-2011 10:11 PM

nothing if you applied the paint with a roller haha,

just saving a few pennies for re-spray :)

Jolly Green Monster 06-03-2011 10:15 PM

love the red crinkle finish on it ;)

2-jaffacake-tone 07-03-2011 10:56 PM

Because iv done away with all the boot hindges an springs/catches an de-skined the boot, iam making the boot re-movable so iv set about with quick release springs at the bottom an droped down over pins at the top.

bit more weight saving :D

http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/a437c33d.jpg

Jolly Green Monster 07-03-2011 11:03 PM

nice

have you done away with boot lock and associated skin?

I was looking at doing so but compromised any just removed the reenforment / internal skin of boot lid but kept latch and associated skin and hinges as I intend using the car on the road, and to travel to jobs so need the boot space :)

Simon

2-jaffacake-tone 07-03-2011 11:12 PM

At the moment it looks like this on the underside, but iam now going to chop the rest out an just leave the lock barrel in for looks :)
