Keith Michaels are sometimes able to provide cover if you're insured with them (note the free plug!!!) or www.moris.co.uk or www.reis.co.uk are able to offer 'stand alone' track cover.

AWD_Scott 25-07-2011 07:01 PM

silly question but do you have to have insurance on a track day?

Sorry guys
I been rather busy with work and getting the new scoob sorted.
Will get on the case again and see what spaces and costs dates etc.

There are earlier ones, end of Aug, but prob to early for everyone.

1st November - Same format as above

31st Oct - Bedford autodrome - 4.1 mile GT circuit - £159 - I have been to this circuit its great as has very large run off areas, but has 101db with87.5 drive by.

Spa francorchamps - 3rd October - open pitlane - £249.00 Some very nice cars on atendee list for this one

Moley_WRX 26-07-2011 12:09 AM

It's also worth looking at Snetterton.

I know a few guys who have done the new '300' circuit, and it's supposed to be a brilliant track now.

Crowman 26-07-2011 12:39 AM

Ok mate will look, cheers

jay 26-07-2011 11:25 AM

Bedford looks good! Like you say plenty of run off!

brother bear 04-09-2011 11:59 AM

not sure i have the conkers yet to take mine on a track but would love to come watch, shout, laugh, make tea, organise etc.........

Steve_PPP 04-09-2011 06:05 PM

This all went a bit quiet didn't it. I know there wasn't a huge choice of dates available at Brands unless you wanted a whole day when I last looked.

Anyone still interested in us setting up another SES track day this year?

Moley_WRX 04-09-2011 07:13 PM

Mine has a bush that needs replacing, so unlikely to be on track for a while.

I am up at Brands on 27th Oct to see Mike L though, if anyone fancies it? I think it's an Easytrack day.

My next one will probably be the SIDC/MLR day in Feb. Well worth going to IMO.

brother bear 02-10-2011 10:21 AM

Any news on this Brands Hatch track day? Never even been to a track day so would maybe like to come and watch. Fetch tea, coffee and red bull in exchange for a couple of passenger laps? Happy to help organise anything i can do.

Moley_WRX 24-11-2011 11:14 PM

Anyone fancy one in early 2012?

Yes

I'm sorting brakes out over the christmas period then will be up for another Brands session. You thinking March or April when the weather is better?

I think April would be best for the club as it'll allow people coming to Germany a chance to get familiar with their scoob on track if they haven't done it before.

Moley_WRX 25-11-2011 09:33 PM

May would be too close to The Ring, so March or April would be good, especially as a shake-down for the 'Ringers'

SpecB 26-11-2011 06:52 AM

Sounds good to me - if the cars back on the road by then!

Anger 26-11-2011 08:23 AM

Project weight saving starts the beginning of December and then my Rollcage is getting fitted when im on my hols at the beginning of Jan.... So any time from feb i should be fine

Lucky 26-11-2011 09:40 AM

Would love to Chris, but working. Goodwood is a great circuit to drive around.
