car body repairer and spayer,then a news paper printer,for ten years and now a fire extinguisher engineer and still painting cars,mostly big emps! lol

Do you take on random small jobs? Got some bits i need sprayed up then put on the car soon :)

I used to manage 12-15 blokes along with project managing the big jobs .... bloody nightmare. Similar to running a kids creche! (Except for the fact that kids sometimes do what they are asked!!)

I don't now, about 5 years ago at the end of another stressed out day and they made the mistake of telling me that my 206 GTI was going to be replaced with a Diesel!! .............. I walked out that afternoon!

I went to another company for more money then was asked back after 7 months for even more and a much cushier job with just me to manage and a manager who doesn't have to manage me, so we are both happy :0)

Still ended up with a Diesel though ....... which made me have to buy a P1 ........ so all ended happily ever after :0)

yes steve i do take on random jobs from wheels,wings,bumpers and motor bikes or scooters,dont do resprays any more as take to much time,so mainly small jobs.cheers wayne.:tw:

Very boring I'm afraid - I'm a Commercial Manager for an Insurance Brokers, although I hope in about 5 - 10 years the directors will be retiring and will lead to my "generation" to take over the company....Just hope they don't decide to sell up!!!!

im now a white van man self employed delivering wholesale newspapers started first day yesterday and what a day it was papers were late to start with from pickup in southampton started at 4am back to brighton eventually delivered papers in brighton and hove then up to cockfield/haywards heath/lindfield/scanyes hill by 7pm we got stuck in the mud down some tight road by one of the delivery houses lucky my boy was with me as we had to literally dig ourselves out by our hands(and put plenty of newspapers down to get some traction) and took us 45 mins to eventually do it by then both completely covered in mud,then eventually got home at 10.20 what a great first day!!!!

Sole trading Carpenter. Only been self employed for 9 months after being made redundant .from the shopfitting company I worked for.
First time in my life , and not a good time to start on your own , but hey ho!
Aslong as I can have fun with scooby , then happy days.
