I do hope this won't happen because I'm really looking forward to meeting you all. http://www.p1woc.co.uk/forums/images.../001_smile.gif But in case anybody needs to drop out, please let us know so that we don't wait in front of the gate for people who won't turn up. Cheers, guys. http://www.p1woc.co.uk/forums/images.../001_smile.gif

Going up with ScoobyStu in his car now, so if any one can use my pass/place they are most welcome.

That's fine, Steve. :) Just some advice: If you want to meet us at the hotel carpark, please make sure to be early enough as the guys want to fill up before they go to Bruntingthorpe, too, at this petrol station: LE9 6QD. From there they want to leave for Bruntingthorpe at about 7.20 (see post 28). :) So I think you would need to be at the hotel carpark at about 6.30 or so. Just want to avoid misunderstandings. Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else soon.:doubleup::yeah:

Hi guys, Chris Buckler just posted the following on the WOC: :)

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok,Asda rang us at home today to say that have given us an extra 3 spaces on the gate,so we can keep 9 cars on the track now instead of 6 cars.
We need to leave the shell petrol station at 7 20am or thereabouts to get to the track for 8am,ask the hotel if you can get an early breakfast, they may help, also those with kiddies can roll in later just make sure you get your passes and roll in at 10am if you wish, but those going on the track should come early.

Kerstin 09-08-2013 01:36 AM

I'm off now, lads. :) Looking forward to seeing you all soon.:nod::yeah: xxx

PM or ring Clive if you have his number? We meet at the hotel next to the shell garage LE9 6QD, I`m sure there will be a spare ticket? Its a great event especailly if the weather holds, I`m meeting Charlie at the teardrop refuge near Brands at 04:30, would be nice if you could make it?

Granby 09-08-2013 05:57 PM

Awesome day!

Where do you get to experience 600 BHP from a stonking supercharged Monaro, a Ring legend in a very special car and someone who drives a Subaru to the limit!

Huge thanks to Ian (Granby), Neil (Scoobyslayer) and Charlie

I echo what Steve said, great day, great people, great cars. Managed 8 laps in 7 cars, all different but brilliant in their own right!

Granby 11-08-2013 09:31 AM

Was a great day with great company, took the car for a few laps , wasn't the fastest but I enjoyed myself and hopefully my passengers did as well 8-)

Granby 11-08-2013 12:08 PM

OK heres a vid of one of my laps, i know i could of gone quicker if i'd taken different lines etc but it was a fun day and you know me i don't drive 10/10's :)

Kerstin 12-08-2013 12:02 PM

Sorry for the delay, guys, but only came home yesterday night and just didn't get the time to post on here. Anyway, a big thank you to everybody from South East Scoobies who came along for a fantastic weekend. It was just so nice to meet you all and such a lovely surprise that you, Ian, could make it and just turned up on the day.:doubleup::doubleup: Many, many thanks for all your donations to the good cause and of course for doing laps for passengers.:doubleup::doubleup: By the way, all the donation money I got from you lads, from the P1WOC and Scoobycity added up to an awesome some of about £480 which is just fantastic.:doubleup::doubleup: I had such a great time with so many fantastic people, awesome cars and some stunning laps as a passenger in your cars.:doubleup::doubleup: Can't wait for next year and looking forward to seeing you all again.:yeah::nod: xxxxx

:thanx: :thanx: :thanx:
