I was a bit more discrete and had an Orion Ghia injection, basically an XR3i with 4 doors and a boot.

Lol, I have 5 Orion ghia i's. They had great exhausts!

That was him, at one point there were 2 of them in the garage as his father in law had one as well. They've sold them both and moved now so none in the area.

I remember when he bought it, we were all meeting in Sainsburys car park to head off for Scotts stag night, I saw the Lotus Carlton and thought it was really nice, never expected Dave to get out of it. He had it for a long time, must have been late 90s, think it replaced a 3 litre Carlton GSI and was his daily driver for quite a while.
