Good stuff, will Dave allow it in the car after it's been used? |
Not until it's cooled, cleaned and folded into the box which will be in a bin bag :)
I have it all worked out so He doesn't kill me |

Forget fancy wipers and beam benders... have you all got some euro change for the Belgian service station toilets on the way there? We always seem to pull up outside, all desperate for a pee, then have to beg, steal or borrow enough change to get through the turnstiles. S'ok, you can thank me later (after you've washed your hands!) </mum voice> |
Sound advise Claire :ok:

You may or may not have heard that we are having lots of strikes in France at the moment. France has archaic employment laws making it almost impossible to hire and fire people as and when. Its why we have 11% unemployment. The government is passing laws to change this and the unions are not happy,so lots of strikes. On of the actions they are taking are blocking the petrol refineries, thus creating fuel shortages and closed service stations.this action could last some while, fill up just before you enter the tunnel and on the way back fill up just before you enter France.

Luckily we never stop for fuel in France as we use the same Shell in Belgium each way :)

Well that photo is a little disturbing, not to say the least! Hopefully 'E' has learnt to tackle a large sausage in a more discreet manor now a days. |
Just hope he doesn't go into detail with you all about how much he enjoyed it like he did with Scott.

Scott had just sat on one.. |
Been buying kinda non-essential stuff on line this eve.
Firstly - I have decided to take the EVO (Sorry E) as its just better set up for the track than the WR1 and I have more confidence in it, more a mind thing. Its what I brought the EVO for anyway and the WR1 is a bit of a shelf queen, I only did 700 mils in it last year. So on my really un-important list of things purchased New wiper blades Ralliart Mudflaps I brought some of the other essentials, GB sticker, light thingy, hazard thingy, think I have a luminescent thingy some where. EVO in for a service - had the brakes done couple of weeks back before Brands and they are epic, but squeal like you would not believe. XP10s. Tyres - I got some Federal RSRs on it at the mo, with some P Zeros available as a spare set (on nicer looking alloys). Just debating whether to take two sets which I will probably just stick with the RSR's anyway. Maybe one spare just in case. Cant wait!!! |

As I said the other morning, if you have more confidence in the Evo then it makes sense, you want to be focussing on the track and what's around you rather than learning the car as well. :) |
That is a shame about the 1.
The ring is more like a road rather than a track so a fast road set up would be better set up wise. The fact you're joining us is the important thing.. Don't forget to make sure you have registered the correct car with euro tunnel. Glad you're looking forward to the trip, you won't be disappointed..:five: |
