Get a Bung Steve

Had an afterburner vortex on my old classic and used the bung, makes a great deal of difference and easy to carry around for those moments you need it:ok:

Will require a small hole drilling in the tailpipe but you'll hardly notice it, had mine on the bottom:ok:

Moley_WRX 20-01-2012 05:40 PM

My Afterburner passed, but that was for a day session

I have a bung that fits the afterburner that you can borrow.

Thanks Ron. I have a bung, but again the advice is not to drive it hard with the bung in as the afterburner bung is particularly restricive and the car was mapped with the bung out. Looking back, I probably could have had a map for both, but it didnt even cross my mind. But god am I lovin it!

Get Simon to put an additional map on it then:ok: I'm sure he'll sort it out for you, that way you'll have all angles covered:five: Theres loads of time to sort it:nod:

Thinking about organising another SES trackday at Brands as there's been quite a bit of interest from people in last years thread about getting another session booked before the Ring trip (to act as a bit of a shakedown for those who want it!).

Having looked at the ClubMSV calendar, the date that jumps out is Tuesday 17th April, for an open pit lane evening.

15:30 Arrival & signing on
16:30 Driver briefing
17:30 Sighting Laps
20:00 Track Time Ends

Cost: £119

http://www.clubmsv.com/car-home/even...productid=1185

Please post up if you are interested, and i'll get something organised :)
Current List:
1. Steve_PPP
2. Anger
3. Bluebugeye (might turn up a bit late?)
4. KrissyB (Clio)
5. KrissyB (Glanza1)
6. KrissyB (Glanza2)
7. Hongkongfooi
8. Worzel
9. Moley
10. Scooby_Greg
11. Lucky (providing db levels meet requirements)
And Gimpy as a maybe, plus a few people coming to watch.

Steve_PPP 21-01-2012 05:51 PM

Right, i think we're all agreed that Tuesday 17th April is the best session to go for, so i've updated the thread title to reflect this.

Get booking folks :ok:

Moley_WRX 24-02-2012 06:58 PM

Anyone booked this yet?

Steve_PPP 25-02-2012 10:54 AM

Not yet but will be. :)

Need to give you a ring in the week as well Gary.

Scooby_Greg 25-02-2012 04:56 PM

Me too once I get paid

nigess 11-03-2012 07:23 AM

Hi i've not done a track day before but would love to come. Sound wise I have a Ninja 2 back box I don't think it should be too noisy. Can someone tell me how to book this up. Novice obviously on track but only one way to learn I guess

Skullfudge 11-03-2012 08:01 AM

Count me in

Hongkongfooi 11-03-2012 09:48 AM

depending on whats found with my car next week as to whether i attend now

Nige 11-03-2012 06:21 PM

Mmmmm I'm now tempted for some reason can't think why
Scoobs to play with :EVO:

Steve_PPP 11-03-2012 10:02 PM

Probably about time we got this booked up i think, 5 week to go now. This is the list from previous page - if you're on it, can you confirm whether you still in?

Current List:
1. Steve_PPP
2. Anger
3. Bluebugeye (might turn up a bit late?)
4. KrissyB (Clio)
5. KrissyB (Glanza1)
6. KrissyB (Glanza2)
7. Hongkongfooi
8. Worzel
9. Moley
10. Scooby_Greg
11. Lucky (providing db levels meet requirements)
12. Nigess
13. Skullfudge

I'll give MSV another buzz this week and see how many places there are free now, the sessions have a limit of 20 so don't want the list to grow much until we know that we won't have to disappoint anyone.

Why you bailing out Nige? Was going to get it booked up as well at the weekend, hoping everyone else does soon as well.

Nige 16-03-2012 02:02 PM

Until I sought this noise out on overrun I don't really want to risk it. I will have to do it if nobody buy's my booking mind. The mood I'm in with the car at the moment it may end in disaster. . Busting it just before Germany not good. You want to buy my ticket Steve? :EVO:

Nige 16-03-2012 07:09 PM
