Ill happily chip in the cost of some track time or fuel for a passenger ride, ill bring my hat and see how the eve pans out.

Can highly recommend a trip out with Steve after I experienced a passenger ride at goodwood.

I most certainly will James if the chance is there, never been in a properly sorted Evo. Just let us know what you want towards fuel etc.

You should try Nurburgring then in damp conditions with him, i'll let the others describe the look on my face when i got out of the car!

passengers need a £10 pass, you'll welcome to jump in with me, though don't expect a fast lap.

Steve_PPP 26-06-2013 11:09 PM

:ninja: Don't know what all the fuss is about

Yep, but other drivers can become passengers for free if they're not out in their own session as well. So anyone in the novice sessions could jump in with someone in the regular sessions for no cost :)

When I was there earlier in the year they would only allow cameras that were mechanically fitted to the car and wouldn't allow mounts that were stuck on or suckered on in the car. They weren't allowing any externally mounted cameras at all.

Thanks Greg.

The only reason I ask is because my old mans coming and wanted to use a hand held recorder, I know this won't be as good as a mounted camera but we thought it might be a laugh as its my first track experience lol.

Do you reckon these will be allowed??

555_Si 28-06-2013 01:39 PM

Pretty sure they are not allowed.

Re cameras etc.

Gopro's etc can be used but,

They must be fixed with cable ties and not to rely on purely suction mounts..

They were getting you to remove them as they checked the car on the pit lane. Everything was asked to be removed unless it was bolted in. It could be they were be tighter that day for some reason?
