buying a set of stiv4 heads from Dave aka(Ginola) to go with my stiv8 short block and a stiv4 orange maf and apexi induction kit .

Nice one Scotty. When and if I get a chance I will try and knock you up some of those number plate brackets, as ideally you need to get that number plate away from blocking the airflow to the inter cooler.

Cheers bud I was just going to take it off and put it in the car for now as I need to order a square number plate .

scotty 26-07-2014 07:23 PM

Not done much to the car but just found one of the boys is selling a brand new stage 2 competition clutch and also a set of 18" rota drifts .

Bytes 26-07-2014 07:35 PM

Looks like you'll be having a busy start to your retirement ;) What colour are the Rotas?

Why you not a big fan of them .

riiidaa 21-08-2014 02:18 PM

Less is more IMO, these cars are starting to pick up in value.

Are you aiming on just getting the splitter flares or that stupid wing to bumper effort and bonnet catches too?

Anger 21-08-2014 02:55 PM

For me it was a Terzo and is nothing like how it left the factory, go as mad as you want :D

Just the splitter flares .

scotty 21-08-2014 05:57 PM

I don't know if I should fit my yellow 440 injectors or not or just fit them and see if I get any problems and can you remove air con radiator and pipe work without removing the air con unit .

Tyler 23-08-2014 01:01 AM

If you fit the 440's are you getting the car mapped as it will DEFFINATLY need doing. As for the ac is there a reason as to why? As in just weight reduction?

Tyler 23-08-2014 01:02 AM

Also with the 440's were they flow matched? As if not may be worth getting it done.

Tyler 23-08-2014 01:05 AM

Ow and I do like the splitter...

Just for weight reduction and as for the 440's not been flow tested so I think I might by a ph2 set and get them flowed bigger as it works out cheaper than to buy brand new so I might just hold off for the time being .

Tyler 23-08-2014 02:04 AM

Fair play, I never bothered removing mine. As for the injectors I would hold for bigger ones but all depends on what power you are looking for. Such a shame as I think I threw away a spare set of adaptors for a phase 1.5 injector to 2...

You will need to modify the arches.
Mine rub and yours will poke out approx 13mm more than mine. So it would need more then just an arch roll.

scotty 31-08-2014 10:49 AM

Right decided to do wire change which wasn't hard for the rear sti lights connector block the first picture is what the wiring looked like see here
http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...f66a34c6ca.jpg
Then what I did was remove the black wire which is next to the brown wire , removed the black wire and put it the top on its own so I have one reverse light working and using the other for the fog light as there is no space to cut a housing in the top of the cluster . Here is a picture of the connector block with the wire changed . I have checked that it works but waiting on red bulbs .

Ginola 31-08-2014 11:07 AM

Cracking stuff, and jebus that cooler pipe is expensive for what it is :S

scotty 31-08-2014 12:37 PM

Order a new square number with GB on it today but it's going to take 3-5 days so I can get rid of the old one so going to make some brackets ready to fit it and done some painting on some engine bay parts to hide the good rust to make them look new first coat on .
