don't tell me how good it is, I wanted an Audi A4 or A6 with an auto box, past experiences of Audi's auto boxes led me over to Mercedes, but I can't help thinking maybe I should have given Audi another chance.

looks a decent motor Ryan and certainly should be nicer than the Mondeo:lol: Neighbour just purchased an A5 coupe and that too is a very nice car (if starting to look a little dated now) but think I prefer the mercs......

Thanks Ron -

I liked the look of the mercs better than the Audi but the interior of the Audi and the optional extras on this one in particular ticked all the boxes for me :ok:

Just hope it drives as well as I hope it will!

Ryan

Very nice choice, I shall definitely be going back down the VAG route when the Civic comes to the end of its useful life, do miss the solidity of the old Passat.

Nice looking Audi, but I'm with you on the Mercs. The second family W205 arrives this evening when my son gets his 220 Sport Premium delivered.

Anyone for a Clio? ;)

Mondeo titanium X - 57 plate with 71k on clock and every added extra you can think of! Only down side are scuffed alloys - rest is mint..

Nice one. I wish I could decide that quick.
Been offered £7900 off and A5, £8008 off an S5 sport back and a curveball of £6800 off a BMW 330i M-Sport !!!!!! Aaaaaarrrrrrhhhhhhh!!!!!

Rdlangy1 07-02-2016 11:48 AM

A5 or S5! S5 looks amazing here - although they have a Matt grey s7 which is just jaw dropping!

Scott.T 07-02-2016 11:50 AM

A5 sport back black edition looks identical to S5. Difference is only 230ps four pot turbo Vs 330ps v6 supercharged engine.

Rdlangy1 07-02-2016 11:58 AM

Then save the cash - u have the scoob for power :ok:

scotty 07-02-2016 12:09 PM

Nice one mmmmm invisable indicators only Audi drivers can see  time to get polishing now

I think I'm heading that way.
Price on S5 is tempting but strange as it may sound the fact that the only seat choice is leather is swinging me away. I hate cold slippery full leather.
The A5 and S3 both have a half leather / Alancantara option.

Enjoy your drive home ;)

Rdlangy1 07-02-2016 12:12 PM

Cheers guys :ok:

Rdlangy1 07-02-2016 04:35 PM

Well got her home in one peice - beautiful drive!

However work needed on bodywork - got quite a few hundred knocked off as the whole car is covered in holograms from someone who obviously doesn't know how to mop a car!

But in shade - here's how she looks :ok:

Looks very nice...says 'get out of my way' ....but then thats what Audi drivers are like (please dont be a typical one)

Scott.T 07-02-2016 04:50 PM

Very nice.
Just needs the s-line badge on the front grill.
I have one mounted on a quattro bracket/clip if you want one. It should clip on where the quattro badge sits on that model.

Well I decided to give the Audi a quick clean at the weekend (and I do mean quick! It was freezing!)...

Just a snow foam, rinse, wash (two bucket method) and then rinse and dry.

Condition of the paint work is absolutely disgraceful for a main dealer! I reckon the guy who mopped it was blind, was wearing sunglasses, and a blindfold, and possibly had no eyes anyway !!!!
