One of my customers cars, I've got it in next week for a few bits.

Lucky 08-12-2012 10:27 AM

well, I've made a decision.

Its going to be a Blob 03 - 05 STI. I need to find one as original as poss, so I can do what I want with it. Really fancy another WR Blue one. My old WRX was WR and I loved it. Loved the black too, but its just too much maintenance for someone fussy!!. Also, as the car wont be used for work it can be as lairy and noisy as I like!!!! I feel a blitz nur spec coming on!!

Lucky 08-12-2012 10:39 AM

mmm... this looks nice:

:lol::lol::lol:

Well I am famous for rear bumpers. My Hawk had 3 of them over its time. Nothing to do with me I might add!.

http://bbs.scoobynet.com/subaru-444/...-for-sale.html ?

Looks well looked after, although its a bit of a trek to get it though. Might be worth it for an enthusiast owned car though?

Selling within 1 month of buying though !!!!!!!!
Yeh I know that's 3 weeks longer then Rob keeps a car, but rings alarm bells with me.

He probably got fed up with people thinking he was gay because of the colour. Not that I would ever think that ;)

car may be fine but bloody hell the advert wording is almost as good as one of Nige's.

Cheers chaps. A couple of nice looking ones there. Was tempted to look at the clean silver classic with one owner, and the silver type r looks nice, but still thinking along the lines of a blob. Getting xmas out of the way, then its top of the list.

i recommend you jump back into and try a classic before deciding on a blob.
For me it was one of the best moves i made.
As its also a toy im not worried one bit that the interior is a little dated compared to the later models but the classic seats are oh so much better for those with a slimmer figure like us ;)

Ah, but bugeye (and blob a bit less so) seats were good too, it was the hawk seats that went all US wideboy ;)

Sti 7 seats are fine sti 8 are where they went wideboy as i had a set in the classic briefly

Nige 21-12-2012 07:22 PM

Bug Sti have the better seats by far. Hawk are big but Fugly is real wide boy. :drive:

BIG"E" 21-12-2012 07:39 PM

STI seats are spot on.

Lucky any time you want a ride in a proper scoob just let me know..:grin:

I'm loving my rawer feeling classic compared to my old blob wagon, but I still miss it.

Agreed the seats in the classic sti are ten times better, you sit in them rather than on them.

SpecB 22-12-2012 06:35 PM

I had a set of STI 8 seats and went back to 2002 (v7) WRX seats as the v8s were too wide and unsupportive.

bigemp 23-12-2012 10:19 AM

what about this beauty steve lol!!!

steve are the seats deffo wider in the hawk than the blob then(as being of the larger variety), i remember trying the bugeye seats and they was too small for me but the sti 8 seats were fine, but sure when i tried a hawk (was a wrx model though),if i remember they felt really tiny are the sti seats deffo wider then????
