As stated in a previous post just how bad my directional/navigating skills are I will be sure to stick close to the car in front of me :)

Last year i said to Ratty... what is this crazy golf driver doing flashing and waving at us... i then realised i was on the wrong side and going straight at them

I blame the sambuca and beer the night before :D

Nige 24-05-2011 07:24 PM

My 1st time there i drove up a duel carriageway at night the wrong way!!! After that i needed a drink. :drive:

Ive driven on the other side many times but never in Europe.

The US & Canada are crazy slow places to drives :(

You can go on a red light when turning right, if a yellow school bus stops on your side of 4 lanes over on the right you MUST stop when they stop.
All kids in Canada are taught that whenever the leave a bus it's safe to cross the road.
I spent more time looking for yellow buses than women !

You will find the roads and drivers generally better than over here.

The lane discipline over there is so much better,

if you are overtaking then you drive in the outside lane when you're not you drive in the near side, simples.

If only people drove like that here, instead of thinking: I am doing the speed limit and so should you no you're not coming past me.:-x

Its strange at first driving on the right especially roundabouts and left turns.

So true Ian, its actually a pleasure to drive out there cos of the lane discipline, the only idiots staying in the outside lane are normally the english lol

Don't know if it was just me but i never had any problems getting used to driving on the wrong side the first time i went

Are they rechargeable or do they require batteries?

I have 2 but, can I suggest I borrow one of yours Steve as its range will be better than mine, in case I get to far in front.

Ours take AAA batteries.

Bring them along even if they have limited range, as it'll be better than nothing
