Thanks for words of encouragement, and certainly is a cracking weekend. But just been reminded by the missus this is the weekend we already have booked up at a Haven Holiday. I was in 2 minds anyhow, but this has killed the idea for me now.

But have a good one, and anyone that hasn't done it before. At least get one easy lap in. Don't think too much about it, just buy the ticket and do it.. If you think too long you will talk yourself out of doing a lap then kick yourself after. Its a box that every petrol head has to at least tick once in there life. Enjoy.!

i'm glad i'm going as the misses has told me the Scooby has got to go as we have too many cars, so this has given me a couple of months more of ownership, i'm hoping she will change her mind when she comes back from the Ring, but apparently i don't need 5 cars, personally i think she is being very unreasable lol. though she did say she would miss the SES meets and activities.

5 cars, what else have you got hidden away? Know about the scoob, golf & Jag.....

Be a shame to sell the scoob after spending time and money improving it though. As you say, the Ring trip might change both your minds :lol:

Lot of resurfacing work still going on over there at the moment, the snow has been bad for a while so think they're a bit behind.

It doesn't normally cause a problem though, there's plenty of cashpoints in Adenau or at the Ring complex, or the closest one to the hotel is up the road in Buchel i think (less than 10 mins drive).

The news on facebook is that they've got snowploughs out and are trying to get the Ring open this afternoon. Expect a lot of people falling off in the slippy conditions, definitely not weather for 888's! ;)
