Going to get myself a breath analyser as apparantly you need one for the French bit, although I believe there is no fine for not carrying one:cuckoo: but just in case i'm getting one..........

Can't be arsed with throw away ones so getting one that will last for future trips if needed..... Getting myself this one

Think I read somewhere that's it's no longer a requirement to carry one in France, could be bs lol, if it is put me on the list pls

From searching around, you must carry one in France but there is no longer a fine for not doing so!! not sure how it works but for the sake of £2 i'm not going to be the one to find out:lol:

You don't need to take breathalysers now but my own opinion Is that for sure some old French policeman will forget or just be awkward and for the sake of a couple of pounds it stops any long delay. Plus with all that German beer maybe it's worthwhile having a check before you drive if you have a heavy night. :hurrah:

Daves wants to help out so we will be there as much as possible throughout the whole trip

Does it give you a reading of how many mg of alcohol in your breath, or just a simple 'don't even think about driving you feckwit' answer? As Si says, could be fun after a few drinks :lol:
