No probs - 9am start so aim to get there for 8:30am, so that means leaving my neck of the woods in Convoy with my mate Sean at 5:45-6am... U all better be nice when I arrive looking like a zombie! ha ha

Rdlangy1 30-06-2014 07:01 AM

oh and just a thought - anyone down that neck of the woods got an address for the nearest Tesco that sells 99-ron or Shell V-power garage? coz will def need to fill up whilst down there.

As im a newb - how much fuel is recommended in car before it goes on rollers? (and yes I gather it has to be enough to get it on and off again!) ha ha ha...

1/2 tank? 1/4 tank?

cheers for all the help peeps -

Oh - whos gonna be wearing their SES t-shirt?? Wanna give mine its' 2nd outting! ha ha

C. J. 30-06-2014 07:27 AM

If you go via m25 & m3 there is cobham services on m25 is a shell and when you come off m3 there is a shell garage which your drive past to go into farnbough

E1bert 30-06-2014 08:14 AM

Are we running in order? If so, being number 14, does that mean I don't have to be there quite so early? ???

scoobie_paul 30-06-2014 08:39 AM

Any convoy heading up from Shoreham way ? Or any meeting places or are most flying solo ? :)

Rdlangy1 30-06-2014 09:06 AM

Also like to know if we are running in order - just so I can get there early...

I guess running in order would atleast give people a format for the day if they do wanna arrive little later, and also give some decorum e.t.c.?

:ok:

C. J. 30-06-2014 10:47 AM

Normally clubs turn up and stay for the day . As far as a running order who's ever there can run first

Rdlangy1 30-06-2014 11:07 AM

oh ill be there all day - just thought a running order might give peeps a sense of organisation... either way doesn't bother me...im easy... :ok:

Steve_PPP 30-06-2014 11:51 AM

Running order is flexible, but it normally makes sense to do all the scoobs together as it sames adjusting the wheelbase on the rollers each time :)

Anyone fancy meeting at the Cobham services on the M25 at 8:15am to convoy over? Its about a 30 minute run from there (and they have a Shell garage).

I'll see you there Steve. Will you be in the Mondeo?

As mentioned earlier, would like to get away earlyish as need to be back for something in the afternoon so would appreciate it if we could set up for the classics first (not sure if classics and newages have the same wheel base or not).

Shane

555_Si 30-06-2014 01:01 PM

Chobham services are a tad expensive last time I went there.

C. J. 30-06-2014 04:09 PM

Classic & newage are the same and yes scoobs first but that was covered earlier in the thread :)

Rdlangy1 30-06-2014 05:55 PM

So how long does a run take? Approx 15 cars on list - really is gonna be good to meet u all..

C. J. 30-06-2014 07:20 PM

20 mins to 30 mins a car depending on strapping points

Moley_WRX 30-06-2014 08:56 PM

Not 100% sure I'm going to be able to make it unfortunately

Steve_PPP 30-06-2014 09:08 PM

That's a shame Gary, we're all keen to have a nosey at the new car ;)

Moley_WRX 30-06-2014 09:50 PM

I'm going to try and make it, would be good to see everyone, but got a very busy weekend ahead

Not sure about meeting at 'Cobham'.
My usual route when on business is M25, A3, Hog's Back, then Aldershot/Farnborough. It's pretty easy and gets you off M23 ASAP.

You mean M25 then A3? The Cobham services are before the M25/A3 junction so you'll be driving past??
