not fast enought yet then ;) what sort of gains could be had if you ran/mapped on E85 with your set up?

Jolly Green Monster 13-03-2010 09:05 PM

20bhp maybe.
30to40bhp maybe on race fuel.
E85 a no no as injectors are at 99%. Doh.
Got a few looks at canary wharf in it yesterday

That's not rust Tim.

That's scorch marks from where he goes through the sound barrier and into another space and time continuam.

Jolly Green Monster 15-04-2010 09:17 PM

Lol.
There is the odd bit needing attention to make it mint, if I could put up without it on the road I would do as jaffa has.

Jolly Green Monster 21-04-2010 11:55 PM

bit of a play again today after new header gaskets, and a quieter exhaust, although not quiet enough..

I think I preferred it before the extra torque so it now needs 20 to 30 more bhp, doh

worzel 23-04-2010 09:00 AM

We are getting closer to mid summer mate.

You could always take it to the "henge" on June 22nd and let the warlocks have a go. :norty:

Simon

Jolly Green Monster 08-07-2010 12:26 AM

shame it has a header leak hampering spool and ultimately the power but... a bit more never hurts

Love the flatness of the curve above 5250rpm, Over 500 horses from 5250rpm....
Also love the ramp rate before it, that must give one hell of a kick.

Mike L 08-07-2010 02:59 PM

Nice one Simon

There should be a few more Mike L 2.35's around after next time home :norty:

AndyWRX 08-07-2010 05:16 PM

Cracking mate, keeps on getting better :-)

RobEvo5 08-07-2010 05:18 PM

Credit when credits due. Allot of time, effort, sweat must have gone into that and dread to imagine how much that map must have been fiddled with. There can only be a handful of 600+ scoobs about, and this has to be one of the nicest looking ones as well.

Yes just hopefully it will drop 400rpm lower once header leak sorted.
