Rob, sorry I forgot you never go to any meets and did not know anyone.

I hope you did not feel like Billy no mates as I know what thats like.

All in good humor, and probably deserved ;). I already really like the car, and a spirited drive like today and some good company just helps to confirm it was the right choice.

Time permitting, will try and make an effort to come to some more meets. Perhaps everyone could wear some name badges or something.... :D

No probs Ian, and can make a nuisance enough of myself not to be billy no mates. I know fair few faces now, but always good to meet and talk to new people.

We used to wear club shirts with peoples user names on the shirts for that very reason.

Thanks to all that came, you all played a part in making it a great morning for everyone....probably one of the most relaxing and best attended meets so far.
OK maybe the weather helped a little ;)

We will defo be using the venue again. Had a good chat with the owners and they enjoyed our visit and welcome us back anytime.

Cheers all..............

sorry if some didnt come out too well need to buy a hood for the camera.

worzel 17-10-2011 09:07 AM

That was without doubt, one of the best I have been to in the 10 years of scoob ownership!

What a thoroughly relaxed and superbly organised and attended meet. Big congratulation to you Scott, great job.

As has been mentioned above a few times, Breakfast Meets are a very good and popular way forward, obviously not for every meet, but a good percentage would work well :ok:

CJ, please don't give up on coming to meets matey, it's always good to see you.

SUBARMAN 17-10-2011 09:12 AM

Great relaxed meet at a "supportive" venue - I counted four SES shirts Ian, not just the two of us.

Was nice to say hello to CJ and Rich, and the old problem of there being just too many people to talk to is just the sort of problem you want really.

Well done organisers!!

Nice one Scott......roll on next summer for some more of this!

Cheers Greg for the run in the Aston....top car driven by a top fella!......oh and Trace is still going on about changing the RB!

Hope to see you all soon.

Great meet, well done Scott.Would make a great venue for a summer lunchtime meet with BBQ and beer.Would have liked a spin in the Aston, but I don't really know Greg that well.Do you think I should send him some flowers?

Good to see you Jay. You could neer sell the country's best condition scoob...

Lucky 17-10-2011 08:44 PM

What a fantastic meet. Really relaxed and great to catch up with everyone. As already said, getting around and talking to everyone is not easy, needed all day!. A particular highlight was driving through Lewes with the sound bouncing off the buildings as about 8 scoobs went up the high street.

Scott, the sound alone has convinced me to go full 3" decat.

Steve, that wax smelt bloody lovely, think I would just leave it open in my lounge instead of using it!

CJ, as Steve said, dont give up on the club mate. Always good to see you and your advice and experience of these cars is really valued throughout the club. As I said earlier, It was hard to get to talk to everyone I wanted to, just ran out of time.

Steve_PPP 17-10-2011 10:40 PM

Sounds like a cracking meet :D

Shame i couldn't make it so cheers to those who've put photos up online. Looking forward to being at the next one!
