I just failed the noise test quite emphatically with a reading of 113.4db:angst:

You can just turn up when there's an event on and get a free noise test.

The positive news from the day was that I was able to visit Neil at Slowboy racing. Good to meet him and have a quick chat about the car. No doubt I'll be back there very soon to get the exhaust changed ;-)

If i wanted to do the 20 min taster what would the fuel cost be rougly as would love to come to the 17:40 but having just bought road insurance i dont have loads of money at the moment. Worked out £55 for the session plus my gf and two helmets. Then £30 fuel there and back. The killer is track insurance is £100...

For a 20 min novice session I'd say you won't need insurance, nobody should be pushing their cars that much on those sessions.

Fuel won't be much either, you'll only be driving 15 miles maximum.
