Hi,

I've just had a look at the booking levels for the two groups and currently we have:

18:20 - 8 bookings
19:40 - 4 bookings

As mentioned lower down you will need 20 places booked by Tuesday 6th April to have the session exclusively.

If you want to book over the telephone feel free to call us on 0870 850 5014 or use the specific links within this thread.

Many Thanks
Nick Rice
Club MSV

thanks for posting that up Nick - thought we'd have a few more people signed up by now...

For those who are worried about paying and getting to Brands only to find out their car is too loud, i'm trying to organise a get-together where we can get the cars noise tested. This will most likely be at some point over the Easter weekend in Mid-Sussex. More details to follow.

:doh:not around that weekend!!! Might just take a gamble.

Scooby Si 26-03-2010 10:18 AM

I've managed to sort things out so I'm not away with work now. Just need to try to sort the noise query ASAP and I shall be booking up.

SUBARMAN 26-03-2010 02:31 PM

Assuming, sadly, that we might not get the exclusive track sessions, will that cause a problem for the photo shoot, I wonder? I hope it is not dependent on us having full sessions.

:SMBLU:

I wouldn't have thought it would cause a problem - as far as I see it, they're just allowing us out in the 'closed' time between the two sessions for photos. I expect its just a case of having slightly less cars :)

Good question though - I'll give Nick @ ClubMSV a call on Monday and double check.

In terms of numbers, i'm going to post this up on Sussex/Surrey/Kent over the weekend to see if we can get some more scoobies to fill the sessions (as we all know a scooby only session will be much better  )

Spooky 26-03-2010 06:45 PM

Guys will i be allowed on track for the photoshoot if i'm not registered to be on track for the sessions? new engine will not be ran in so i will just be spectating and hopefully being in the shoot.

Scott.T 26-03-2010 06:47 PM

Is there a full track day event on aswell, as considering going up in the afternoon for a mooch round before we are let loose.

Need my new clutch fitted 1st though.

I was also looking to go up early, mainly to miss the traffic lol

Edited - Yes, you're welcome to attend the photoshoot before the track sessions - see post #20 in this thread.

I'd be up for that too, have a chance to wander round first :)

Steve... Check Worzels post on page 1 #20. It's says people not doing the track sessions can still join the photoshoot part of the evening at 5pm.

I think I read somewhere that the Wednesday (Original date) was an evening session. Not sure what time the Monday is starting but I'd imagine it would be on the MSV website somewhere...

Scooby Si 26-03-2010 07:23 PM

Just had a quick look... It is an evening session. First session looks like it's at 17.30 after our photoshoot slot.

Good idea

If they open the day up to general public we could end up with the Nova/Corsa crew on track, and i don't fancy having them driving around us, as you can imagine how they'll be driving so they can boast to their mates that they 'did an Impreza' on the track

I know it is unlikely, but after almost being wiped out by an idiot in a Civic @ Castle Coombe i always try to stick to the owners club track days.

I stand corrected - well spotted and good news

DukeBoy 26-03-2010 07:36 PM

Gary how much is insurance and how much notice do you need?

Dyney 26-03-2010 07:52 PM

I'm waiting to noise test the exhaust, but I'm in for a session if it's quiet enough :)

Brilliant :hurrah:

I will have a noice check too while i'm there just out of interst!

Scooby Si 26-03-2010 08:24 PM

Is there a plan to get together and noise test the cars?? Maybe we could sort something for the Westie meet if enough of us can make it. (And we can get hold of a meter of course!)

Frenchie 26-03-2010 08:26 PM

My insurance company in France is asking almost the same as a years premium to cover me for the track.I don't think UK companies will cover me as I'am left-hand drive with a French number plate.May come along just for the photo shoot,

Moley_WRX 26-03-2010 09:01 PM

Am looking into what price i can get the insurance for.

Spooky 26-03-2010 09:13 PM

Who are you insured with Moley? I'm with greenlight and they do £50 a day and my excess is doubled for that day in the event of a claim. I think Gary Moulson soes this too and a few others...

We're planning on doing noise testing at the Pease Pottage meet, just waiting for Crowman to confirm he can attend with the db meter :)

We had a bit of a try with Angers a couple of weeks a go but I don't think he was revving that high but it was under 100db... Will try to have a go this weekend a post up the results.

Hmmm, might have to speak to the insurers on Monday, looks like we're being over charged. (they charge us £60)

Scooby Si 26-03-2010 10:36 PM

Will we have to get cover for the whole day to cover 40mins Gary??
