are you meeting us at PP? or going round to Staines to meet the surrey bunch? i know meeting at PP would mean a 15 min drive south, just to go back north - but wouldn't want to leave if you were running late :)

Otherwise, its just the following at PP i think:

1. Steve_PPP
2. 666Subaru
3. The Fly
4. Lucky
5. scixer6r

Anger 24-09-2010 10:01 PM

Have to pick up Mandy from Guildford :)

Steve_PPP 24-09-2010 10:05 PM

Lucky 24-09-2010 11:19 PM

I cant believe it. I've had someone call in sick so gotta work :x. Car is clean aswell.

I managed to get mine washed this evening. God knows how and why I was doing it? was bloody cold, getting dark (then fully dark by the time it came to drying) so expect one or two areas I have missed or water marks.

Managed to fix and fit my light as a temp fix for road use.I am sure the bugger will mist up again!!

Then, took the misses and kids for a meal then came into work where I am now.

Get the coffee's in folks later, I'm going to need it. lol

See you in a few hours guys.

Steve

666subaru 25-09-2010 03:46 PM

What a fantastic morning, excellent selection of scoobs, including RB5's, RB320's, P1's, 22B's, the gobstopper, and Richard Burns's old rally cars.

Great convoy up thanks to everyone that came along, caught up with some old friends from the midlands scooby clubs and great to talk to some new ones.

I will get the pics up tomorrow.

Steve_PPP 25-09-2010 04:08 PM

great morning guys, i think we underestimated the time it would take the SES convoy to go from J11 (where i phoned ahead to Surrey) to J13 (where we should have met Surrey  )

Lots of lovely cars, took quite a few photos. Wandered off with some of the surrey lot then got back to the car to find most of SES had gone! when did you leave?

Left about 1ish in the end. Sorry Clive - by the time i saw you'd taken to the slip road at the Oxford services, i was past the junction!

The Gimp 25-09-2010 04:42 PM

Great day with great company. Nice to see you again Baz be it brief. Steve lovely to meet you as last matey.

The photos look great - I couldn't make it as I've got man flu :( Glad you had a great time.

Steve_PPP 26-09-2010 03:24 PM

And we'll need a prize at the next meet for the person wearing the most Subaru themed clothing - it'll definately be Jay after he managed to buy half a wardrobe from the Prodrive stand

I'll buy you a pint if you ever dare to wear the Prodrive shorts out in public

Good to see you too Steve, did try and get round to catch everyone to say hello but did not see you again, was great to see the beast again Steve, and good to see Clives also on display.

Oh Steve, the write up on the car was priceless especially the part at the end.:10:

tbtstt 26-09-2010 08:06 PM

Absolutely brilliant day out; some great cars, lots of WRC porn on display and some good company. Didn't seem like as many people there as the P1 Gathering, but I thought it was better organised and good to see so many people paying tribute.

Top marks to The Gimp and Steve_PPP for convoy organisation (even if you didn't wait for us Steve! http://www.surreyscoobies.co.uk/foru.../icon_wink.gif) and The Gimp and Anger for supplying the Anti-Lag!

scixer6r 27-09-2010 11:40 AM
