For anyone who hasn't been to Modified Live, please be aware that this will be an early start - we will be meeting up to hand out tickets at about 7:30am on the Sunday morning so we can get into Brands quickly and easily. If we leave it later than that, we'll be queuing for ages. If this is a problem for anyone, please drop me a PM. :)

All details regarding meeting point/times will be confirmed early next week once I've ordered the tickets.

Too far away for the Kent members unfortunately, as it would have done the job well. But would add too many miles for them.

We're considering our options at the moment but Scott has come up with Wested Lane in the industrial estate just off J3 of the M25 (other side of the roundabout to the normal meeting point).

Once confirmed, all details will be posted up.

Also for those heading from Surrey/Sussex be aware there is a 50mph limit (with cameras) from jct 6 right up to the M25/M26 jct, so allow extra time for the journey

Why not use Bluewater?

Its only 10 mins to Brands Hatch from there,the front car park is huge and will be empty at that time of the morning apart from a few M&S employees.

Have seen a few car clubs meeting up there on a Sunday over the years.

The problem with Bluewater is although close, it'll add another 10-15 minutes to the journey time between meeting and getting to Brands, which could result in getting stuck in queues.

Last years meeting point was a perfect place, just possibly a bit of a squeeze for 30+ cars

We have located a place to meet close to the M25 J3, just waiting for the events organiser to post details ;)....

Firstly, we will not be using the same meeting point as we have for the last few years!

Please make sure you are at the new location - Wested Lane, which is just off Junction 3 of the M25 (opposite side to Brands Hatch) - postcode is BR8 8EE.

We will queue up on one side of the road, two cars wide (as shown by the red lines on the map above). I will be handing out tickets/car passes to people as they arrive. If i've got distracted by someone and you don't have your tickets within a few minutes of arriving, come and make yourself known! (For the newbies, ask someone to point you in my direction ;)) From there, we will go back under the M25 and convoy up to Brands Hatch.

Meet at Wested Lane - 7:30am
Leave for Brands Hatch - 7:45am, to arrive approx 8am

We will be using the Paddock entrance at Brands, rather than the main entrance.

Please be on time. If anyone has not arrived at the meeting point by 7:45am, then we may leave without you (we can't delay the whole group). If this happens, I will try and leave your tickets with the gate staff at Paddock entrance, but this cannot be guaranteed. If this is going to be a problem for anyone, then please PM me in advance.

Finally - a few words about behaviour. There are some new members and names on the list that aren't SES regulars so its worth us perhaps stating the obvious. We want you to all have a great day out but remember you are part of this club and representing SES by being on our club stand. Any bad driving or behaviour reflects negatively on us and may prevent us from being allowed to attend future events. No donuts on the grass at Brands, no speeding/racing in the convoy. Anyone found acting stupidly or dangerously may be denied access to the event and may have their access to the forum removed. All common sense stuff for 99% of folks, but we don't want the 1% ruining it.
