As I said earlier Ian, thanks for organising.
The venue was very efficient and getting all the food out, which is no mean feat trying to serve 26 at once.

Time to organise a New Year Curry I think ;)

Make it a Chinese and I'm game :ok:

An evening at the Chilli Tree, Bexhill ?

Used it 2 years on the trot for the works department Christmas meal and the food is great and the owner really passionate.

The Trip advisor reviews tell the story : http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaur...x_England.html

This place is very good http://www.roochi.co.uk/
Also does a Sunday 3 course meal for £11.99 ahead
It's also quite central for everyone

Heard good things about The Chilli Tree also, just looks derelict from the outside. Presume its the one on the end of the bypass next to Sussex Beds?

Before we get into an argument over the best place for a Curry, just a thank you to Ian for organising, Scott for driving and not forgetting Wanda for the choccy treats.

Have a great Christmas guys and see you all in the new year.

lol, you suggested Bexhill, isn't that 7 minutes from Hastings ;)

To be fair, we've all been there, got the t-shirt when it comes to the "where's best" conversation. We've always known that the most central to the whole region is pretty much a triangle between East Grinstead, Tunbridge Wells and Uckfield. But if someone wants to run a curry in Hastings and there's enough interest locally to make it work, why not, its then down to others if they want to travel to it or not.

Same works with anywhere else really :) We cover a big region so why only have one curry night if there is interest for more? Sometimes smaller groups of 5-10 are nicer for a chilled meal out and a chat, rather than trying to sort a table for 20 somewhere!

The club's Xmas meal should always been a big everyone-together do, but going for a curry doesn't need to be in my opinion :)
