Just quick rack, sump and a few other bits Nige

Not suspention, slowly getting the bits all together to get set up all at ones

SpecB 27-04-2011 07:38 PM

Sounding good - need to try and get my turbo swapped and a remap in time for the ring - looking like it will be a close one!

Crowman 27-04-2011 08:09 PM

What are we like. Every year we all end up frantic for the last few weeks running up to the ring trip :-)

We wouldn't have it any other way :ok:

SpecB 28-04-2011 08:21 PM

Looks like the turbo will have to wait - just not able to do it on the cheap as I can't get turbo, fitting, mapping to tie up so would have to go Engine Tuner or Scooby clinic to get it sorted at around £2k!

Nige 11-05-2011 01:01 AM

Skullfudge 11-05-2011 11:45 AM

I don't know who Joe is but I'm hoping all is okay with him & you Nige.?

You are not coming to The Ring now ?

Just to update things. My wife (Hev) & I are up for this and I have contacted Tim.

Tim has advised me of who is going and when but I was slightly confused. Is anyone else catching the 8.00 am Ferry on Thursday 26th ??

I hope all works out okay for you Nige.

I hope all works out okay for you Nige.

Joe is Niges son and ring co pilot.

Great to see you have got things sorted out Clive :ok:

Nige was heading down on the Thursday, but that obviously looks like it won't be happening now :sadno:

There are a couple of options with regards the Thursday ferry mate.

First one is change to the Friday and cruise down with the bulk of the members.

Second one is that Martyn & Myself will be leaving Brussels at about 10.00 - 11.00am to head down to Auderath (the Ring), you have to drive past Brussels on the infamous Brussels Ring Road to get to Auderath and we could meet you en-route.

Skullfudge 11-05-2011 12:57 PM

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Wishing Joe all the best & a speedy recovery Nige.

Steve, that would be good for me to change the date to Friday regarding the ferry.
I'll end up in a Turkish fishing village going by myself.
I will contact Tim.

Cheers mate.

worzel 11-05-2011 01:14 PM

OK Mate :ok:

majorscooby 11-05-2011 04:54 PM

Hope everything turns out ok nige, best wishes and all, Rich.

Nige 12-05-2011 07:16 PM

Things are looking better for Joe now. He had slit his spleen & loosing allot of blood. Touch & go a few times the 1st night. I never thought i would have to work on my own son believe me it came close. Joe being young & fit had managed to stop the bleed on his own & now making good progress. He's now out of ITU & on to a normal ward. Thing's with the Evo have come to a stop at the moment & to be honest im not that bothered. Good news for Skullfudge though {arse kicked} If & its a big If Joe feels up to it i will still go just for the jolly & to get him away for a few day's. I will be in the Saxo & he wont be going on track. Thanks to all for there well wishes & concerns for Joe. :drive:

Granby 12-05-2011 07:22 PM

Thats great news Nige

worzel 12-05-2011 07:58 PM

Great news Nige, I am really glad to hear things are going well and he's on the mend. Everyones been worried waiting for some news.

It's things like this that make you realise what's really important mate and it ain't cars.

It would obviously be great if you could both make it out there. In the old wheels of steel :drive: You could always come out as a co-pilot with me for a lap or 2 if you fancied. :ok:

If you can handle going that slowly of course

Crowman 12-05-2011 08:21 PM

Nige, that's such a relief , we have all been so worried.
Would be fantastic for you both to come. You can take mine out and throw it around.
Tell Joe we all wish him well mate.

Crowman 12-05-2011 08:31 PM

Bloomin heck, 1st year Worzels car blows up, 2nd year I roll M3 and this year poor Joe.
Thats the 3 out of the way, so roll on next year :-)

SpecB 12-05-2011 08:37 PM

Give him mine and Sians best wishes and really hope to see you both in Germany, if not I'm sure we'll see you soon!

Skullfudge 12-05-2011 09:08 PM

Nige that's great news about Joe heading in the right direction mate.

Big good if you can both still make it and wishing him a speedy recovery.

Steve_PPP 12-05-2011 11:04 PM

Blimey Nige, must have been worrying times there.

Glad to hear he's on the mend.

Just read this, what happened?
Glad to hear he is on the mend.
I think if possible you should both defo still go.

Looks like there may be no Evo`s to show the way this year, insurance are dragging their feet and car is still bent

Regards to Joe

Anger 13-05-2011 06:21 PM

Paul is in an Evo ;)

Scott.T 13-05-2011 08:42 PM

Sorry to hear the news about Jo mate, I hope he is recovering well.
Soz for not posting sooner, but I don't come into this thread often...for obvious reasons.

Good news, we were starting to look a bit thin on the ground for a moment!

And Nige, i'm sure Joe will be well chuffed with that pic on here, just needs some heels and a handbag to go with those tights and that dress ;)

worzel 17-05-2011 11:36 PM

Nige, it's great that you two are coming down to Germany.

Me and Martyn will make sure we have and extra cold one waiting for you both on arrival. And if Joe can't drink, have two!
