The lap i videoed last year was 9:12. 12 secs is a lot round there, but i know i was slow at the start of that lap so should be possible.

If it does go ahead, it'll be later in the year now mate.

If they have the same set up as last Sept. you won't get a good BTG a they bottle neck it at the start finish. Hope this is gone when we go :EVO:

Well I must admit your car did look impressive around the bends mate.

I have driven an Evo 7, 8 & 10 and they are better in the bends to the point you need to be pretty brave finding the limits unless on an RAF apron or similar.

I prefer Scoobz purely down to the raw feel and driver input required in the bends but I do understand why guys like the Evos as the trick electronics that sort out the bends are impressive and in your case makes a bloke who hasn't got a clue what he is doing in the driving seat look really good. :-P

Fudge <--------- expecting a mouth full about the closing sentence :more:

works for me Clive!

What straights?

Exactly! ;-)

Although Ian may be on to something... It would have to be a closed circuit with no wind down though- and we have to start level. and I may need some semi-naked cheerleaders to distract him... Other than that Nige would be a shrinking dot somewhere on the horizon......

Aston Martins are designed by people who know what there doing aerodynamicly & asthetically. Scoobs & Evo's hit a brick wall at about 170mph even with 500ish bhp. As there were desighned by some nipponise on a Friday morn. Your Aston with that beutifull V12 will just cruise at such a minimal mph. I shall wave at the rice boys as a gent should in these circumstance's.

Just wondering if this is still happening?

Steve_PPP 15-04-2012 09:25 PM

No, not enough interest. Maybe we'll try and get one sorted later in the year with some of the shorter 20 minute taster sessions - might appeal to more people.
