In white again? Same as last year? Yes please ;)

Steve_PPP 21-03-2014 02:14 PM

Yep.

Alternatively, if you can do a few white '2014' stickers, I can just add that on as i've kept the SouthEastScoobies bit but removed the '2013' a few months ago :)

It would be good for those that have not got SES shirts to wear to order them soon.

So that this years trip photo will be as good as last years.

Outside the hotel. Spot the odd one out ;)

Just found this in the Ts&Cs of the RAC European breakdown cover.

Vehicles which have broken down as a result of taking part in any motorsport event or activity which takes place off the public highway (including, without limitation, rallies or stock car racing) and is not subject to the normal rules of the public highway including participation in the Nürburgring.

Best be careful then. Does Garys track day cover fill the gap?
Most of the other breakdown companies won't cover the car as it's 15 years old this month :(

Get breakdown cover from ADAC, its Germany's largest company (I believe the 2nd largest breakdown firm in the world), much like the RAC/AA except bigger, and better cover including repatriating your car, and able to recover the fee's from recovery on the Northloop,.. have a look online ;) There is some oddity about breaking down in the UK more than 50miles from your home, but most have never been billed for this.. I renew it every year ;) + Every shell station in europe gives a 2% discount on fuel when you show your card :p

Steve_PPP 09-04-2014 03:42 PM

I get my European breakdown through Gary every year as well as insurance, so assume there are no breakdown exclusions near to the Ring.... might be one to check!

555_Si 09-04-2014 06:13 PM

Looking at my phone bill for last year around that time +4994152344 looks like the number for English speaking ADAC, as this is a German number and the only one I rang around that time.

Unless I was ringing some dodgy German sex line lol.

Ginola 09-04-2014 07:58 PM

Looks like Si has the right number, I didn't understand the renewal letter either, but first person I spoke too sorted me out :)) Took me about 4mins on the phone to refresh mine and Wanda's.

Lifted from "Joys of caravaning.co.uk! :P!"

FOR INFORMATION, ENQUIRIES ETC.,

Email. amanda.moser-wickles@sby.adac.de

or Telephone enquiries and to join and pay my debit/credit card phone offices Tel No. 00 49 94 15 23 44 and speak to

Ms Amanda Moser-Wickles, or Ms. Barbara Lorenz.

If you get an answer phone message when ringing this number it tells you in German they are extremely busy and to leave a message after the tone. If you leave, your name and telephone number and reason for ringing, they will get back to you as soon as they can. And they really will..

:(

Easily done though in conditions like that - sunny and dry in places, but still wet in the shade.
