Crowman 12-05-2010 06:41 PM

Due to my encounter with a deer, i will now hopefully be going as a passenger.
I have a spare ferry booking if any good to anyone,as cant be refunded, but can change details.

Greig 12-05-2010 06:46 PM

When the rac picked up my car last
year they told me the aa won't pick up
modified/ lowered cars. Rac have used
many times before with mates cars etc
and they have been briliant every time!

Make sure you phone what ever ins comp your with as fully comp here will not cover you over there. I think it drops to 3rd party only unless you organize it with your comp 1st. Subaru drivers just keep recovery tell numbers to hand please as it got embarrassing last year:oops::oops::oops:

worzel 13-05-2010 05:08 PM

Toooooooooooo late car wrecker!

worzel 13-05-2010 09:52 PM

The one car I would love to have seen down there (apart from Martyn obviously) would have been Rich (dukeboy) That would have looked the nuts going round the Ring.

Next time Rich :ok:

Lucky 13-05-2010 09:56 PM

Agreed, one of the nicest bugs about. It's a pity we wont get to see yours going round tho. I for one was looking forward to seeing that let loose on the autobahns. Maybe next time buddy.

worzel 13-05-2010 09:58 PM

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, actually...... things are looking up on that front.

With any kind of luck, I might have it back on Monday :yeah:

Everything crossed and all that

Lucky 13-05-2010 10:01 PM

Oh Fantastic!, That will be cool. Fingers crossed then. Nothing atall against the M3, they are awesome cars, but the more scoobs for the trip, the better.

For sure mate. The only caveat to that is if Martyn wants a lift down. I wouldn't put him through the torture of the scooby.

Nige 13-05-2010 10:08 PM

I dont have your sort of power Steve so i may have to slip stream anyway

worzel 15-05-2010 12:19 AM

Mate You must be joking. Yours has got my power and some more. The to follow if he was to go on a quick one would be anger. His scooby is the beast in the pack by far.

Nige 17-05-2010 11:17 PM

There is a newbie coming to the ring. His name is Jimmy he built my engine @ JRM top man & mental in a car. He may bring his own car an Alfa 156 or an Evo X if he can borrow it . He went out there last weekend to oversee his Lotus 211 @ the gp circuit then he went next door had a go around the ring in a R/Rover & was hooked. He has Crowmans ferry booking. Also Jaffas mate Paul Egerton is looking for a passenger seat in someones car. :drive:

Anger 17-05-2010 11:23 PM

My passenger might not be able to come now

Crowman 17-05-2010 11:24 PM

I hope everyone is still getting there fancy dress.
I am still on stand by at moment, depends on how things go over next week or so, really do want to come.
Fingers crossed.
