No you haven't i'm afraid.....on the way over to Japbash some old biddy in a Nissan Micra (old piece of crap) was behind a bloody caravan and braked suddenly, needless to say i ran up her a$re (so my fault), she drove off as if nothing happened, so i'm sat in the middle of the road with loads of steam coming from under my bonnet, had a quick look and it was just the alternator pulley gone through the top hose.
Drove it back to work slowly for further inspection....reqs bonnet, bumper, headlights, grill, radiator, top hose, intercooler mount, poss intercooler (will pressure test monday).

It's all stripped out now, but not sure if i should give Gary a call or not, as i'm fully comp with protected ncb, but as its stripped out not sure if they will want to look at it or not, plus i don't want it going into a bodyshop i'd rather get the bits and do it myself....not sure if that would be a option going through insurance.

Sorry to hear that mate. Sounds like you have it under control though. In the long run it may be cheaper to do it yourself if you can.

worzel 04-09-2010 05:45 PM

Mate, that's terrible news! :sadnod: like Steve says though, probably best to get done without the insurance getting involved. Hope you get it sorted soon mate!

Hongkongfooi 04-09-2010 05:54 PM

Crowman 05-09-2010 11:02 AM

Rich, mate that's so gutting. Hope you get it all sorted.
I am sunburnt, hung over and shattered.
Excelent day and night.
Huge thanks to Scott, Steve, and alfamale for all the organisation and help, it was hectic, hard work, no real time to walk around unfortunately.
Baz big thanks for being a fantastic host , I havnt laughed so much in ages, your friend , sorry don't know her name, the one wearing the cow suit , had me in stiches.
Morster and his fart machine was quality.
None of this would have been possible without the hard work and funding by Steve- Worzel.
Great job as always mate.

666subaru 05-09-2010 04:44 PM

Was a great day and night, glad you had a great time Martyn, we never laughed so much, but the toilets needed sorting:ok:

Steve_PPP 05-09-2010 04:46 PM

Your little CrowBoy was a trooper on the gate too! :ok:

Fab day out, fantastic weather and good company! Such a shame Mr Worzel couldn't be there after all his hard work beforehand!

I think the sight of Steve running up the field holding a squealing piglet is probably the funniest thing I've seen in a very long time! I haven't laughed that much since he asked me to marry him!

Did anyone mention to Barry the pigs had escaped. I think they may of eaten their way through the hedge.

Would hat eto think he thought we let them out.

Yep, Steve told Barry and apparently they're always escaping. They'd dug their way through the hedge and seem to gome and go as they please... I blame the parents! lol

Crowman 05-09-2010 09:38 PM

Thanks Claire, Brooke did help me big time, bless him.
