What can i say , what a great day and night . Great venue some great cars really good turn out for the day and for camping giving the whole event a relaxed and fun atmosphere . A huge thankyou to all those that put in a lot of hard work to make this event happen again and roll on next year . well done folks

Steve_PPP 06-09-2009 01:13 PM

great day and night out, both thoroughly enjoyed it. everything was spot on and well organised - you guys did a good job!

camping and bbqs in the evening were also a great laugh, even the weather was decent to us. cafe opening up for breakfast was also really decent of the place too. put me on the list for next year! :)

666subaru 06-09-2009 07:20 PM

Fantastic venue, great cars, great people looking forward to next year, Sammi's vehicle was fantastic as were lots of others. Camping was a great laugh, food was great thanks to StevePPP, we even had real toilet facilities:doubleup:

Food was good in the cafe only as the burger van wanted burning for selling dodgy food, needed some more trade stands as people were leaving early as there was not much to look at apart from the cars.

A big thank you to all the organisers for their hardwork in making this happen and bring on next year, for all those who missed it, try and come next year and lets make it bigger.

Awsome weekend guys, a fantastic display from the squadron and an excellent line up from everybody else who turned up!! the late night drinking session was mental and well done to the hard core ones who stayed up till the end (worzel and steve).
Hows your head now Worzel?????? lol

Oh and well done scott for your 2nd place trophy, 1st place could of been yours if it wasnt for Big E's finger prints!!!

Fozzy N 06-09-2009 07:45 PM

Cheers for a great show chaps and making me feel welcome. Cracking venue

Frenchie 06-09-2009 08:17 PM

Japbash

Thanks to everyone who helped set this up,best meet ever.To those who didn't attend here's what you missed: A fantastic venue with loads of space,Barry the dentman who did as much free work as paid work, lots of cracking cars and cracking people. We have eaten in lots of great French restaurants, but until you have tasted a McBaz Burger you haven't lived. These were available 24hrs,free of charge, thanks BAz.As for evening entertainment we had Crowman showing his expertise with wind instruments,Worzel with his tales of trips abroad supplemented with a few small glasses of beer and lots more.In the morning we were all amazed by by Big E's skill at tent dismantlling. If you missed it put it in your diaries now for next year.If you don't have a tent I'am sure North downs Scobbie?,could put up about 30 people in his tent!

Granby 06-09-2009 08:25 PM

Yep what a brilliant weekend, thanks to everyone who organised it as they did a great job, can't wait for next year and round 3 lol

Guy B 07-09-2009 08:33 AM

That was a brilliant day, some awsome cars and it was nice to put names to faces.

Did anyone else think the museum was amazing?! the urge to jump the barrier and stroke the lambo's was almost overwhlming!

worzel 07-09-2009 09:49 AM

The response to this years Japbash has been good and positive. :yeah:

A lot of this is down to the team of people who worked hard to make this event happen the way it did. The work put in by members of the Moderator team on Saturday was little short of outstanding.

Scott and Big E manning the gate for the most part of the day, CJ as parking co-ordinator for the biggest stand at the show. Nick Cheryl (SJC) for the mass flyer campaign and promotion of this event. Crowman for running around endlessly in the last few weeks not only with Japbash, but the getting this new site off the ground.

A massive pat on the back to all of you. You all did a fantastic job.

:five:

thrice hurrah and a hearty hurrah for good measure to the above !!!

WRX_Paul 07-09-2009 01:12 PM

What a day, great company and great cars! VERY well organised by those involved, a much better venue than last year, well worth the £5 entry.
As above, the burger van was expensive and well ropey (how can you mess up a burger?!?) The cafe was expensive but very good food.
I agree that next year we will need some more trade stands as this show is getting bigger!

NorthDownsScooby 07-09-2009 08:58 PM

An excellent weekend chaps. Good to meet more of you and experience your burger (& baked potato) cooking skills :-D.

NICE BUTTER. :ninja:

Shall try and drag along a few more from Surrey next year, but may need to expand the personal tentage space for next year though as I was feeling a bit cramped.....:chug:

Will post up some photos on SS when I get back from Devon to home base on Wednesday and then link them back here.

Thanks to all the organisers/promoters/runners and parking attendants !!!

Rich

Japbash

Thanks Worzel for all your hard work are you still there or have you sobered up enough to drive yet.Next year I think we should give CJ a proper cap and jkt for his duties as parking attendant! As their were a few complaints about the burger van shouldn't we put Baz in charge of catering, anyone who tasted one of his burgers will never forget it.For breakfast in the morning couldn't we all clear of to the cafe and leave Big E to take down all the tents, shouldn't take him long!!Can't wait for next year, would be happy to help out with stuff.
