Starting a small project thread on this one should be ordering the first bit or two in a few weeks time hopefully .

Well went to the local halfords and bought some primer and paint so will need to read Ginola's de-tango thread very carefully to do this one as never done it before .

Hmmmm... Interesting! I put my ones back in the oven before tightening together to make the sealant sticky again

I did that, and applied a full fresh beed of new sealant as well just to be sure.

Yes I did Rob might wait until I've got the front splitter but while I'm waiting going to de badge the boot .

Been looking at this for the last few days .

They look great but crack very easily if you touch a kerb. The plastic ones have more flex to them.

Well, the car was spot on for the drive home, the traffic and the weather was very kind too! So so nice to be behind the wheel of an Impreza again, something I have missed massively over the last 5 weeks!

I am indeed a happy chappy, can't wait to come to the next meet.

Massive thanks to Scott for everything, he has been great answering all my questions, sending me loads of photos and keeping me up to date the whole time. It was great to see you again yesterday and 'pop' up to your part of the world, you were right, the tap water is better up your way!

Once things get under way I will be either continuing this or starting my own thread on the little bits I do as I own the car.

I also look forward to Scott's build thread coming along nicely now I have supported him financially with it 😉

Looking forward to some updates and mine is already started so we are both winners . Oh you need to make sure the yellow pad applicator is damp when you are using your new wax .

Of course it didn't take him long he just couldn't resist it even got some free poorboys products that came with the car he didn't know about until he opened the annoying box on the back seat lol .

And that box was taunting me the whole trip down! They are already being used today! Not often a car comes with such a good prezzie.

Good if you run low before the trip to Germany let me know and I will bring more down from the shop I go to as I get a discount on them 😁😁😁

I have decided to carry on with the thread that Scott started, it seems that the history of the car at least on SES stays in on place.

The written off blue car is now in my possession and I have already spent today fiddling with it and working out just how much of a war wound the accident left. I have also been deciding what I want to keep for myself and will be transferring parts to the black car over the next few weeks.

I plan on keeping the thread updated and will try taking photos as I go.
