£387.55 :shock: .....i can purchase the parts from Balance motorsport for £225....that is some fitting cost for something that will take a maximum of 10mins to fit on a ramp :asskiss:

I did PM steve earlier say I did not think it was a very good price . :doubledown:
Demon tweeks sold me a 22mm ARB and solid alloy links last year for £150 delivered to my door . it takes 10 to 15 min to fit lying on your back !

Think it would be cheaper for us to buy them as they are only £230 for alloy droplinks and the roll bar including the vat from scoobyparts and then we can have them fitted locally so not going to have this done now, but thanks Steve anyway :doubleup:

Guys i am speaking to steve.
There is obviously a mistake with the pricing.
Gatwick did a good price last time.

The diference in price between Steel and Alloy on most web sites is around £30

I will get this all cleared up, and ask for the labour to be shown seperatly also.

Mate, maybe it'll be best to drop this idea.

Just trying to offer something and giving the prices Dave quoted. On those prices Rich mentioned above of £225.00 there will be VAT, which takes you to £258.75. Then you have the shag of fitting the things. Easy on the ramps, not so easy crawling about on the drive.

The price Dave has given is all in. Including VAT & Fitting. I don't think it's too bad personally. But there you go.

I think its a good idea.

But we can all go on line and see on line prices, and I bet they can get things trade price which would be cheaper than we can buy them for. :nod:

I dont see why we should have to VAT. on the Geo set up its not as if they are providing any parts.

Surely if people were to pay cash the VAT can be lost.

I have just checked on Demon Tweeks for the Whiteline ARB & Drop Links and the prices shown there DO NOT include VAT as I thought. So you can add the chancellors cut to anything posted above, unlike Daves cost which is inclusive of VAT.

It's up to you boys. I'm more than happy to drop that part if you feel you are getting ripped off.

VAT by the way is not just chargeable on products but on services as well.

I really want this done before the ring trip, think its a wise move but i will search for it to see if i can get it cheaper as i dont mind fitting bits myself!
If i cant get the bits for alot less then ill have them done on the day! :doubleup:

From what I have seen matey, you can probably pick them up and fit them yourself and save maybe £30.00.

It's then just as simple as, would you pay someone £30.00 to fit them or would you want to do it yourself and keep the dough :nod:

I was always going to buy and fit myself as its a 10 min job, happy to get done at gatwick if its not more money.
Really just fancy the meet and thought what the hell get some new bits. Heck i would spend 30quid on a take away. :doubleup:

It probably isn't the dead cheapest you can buy it, but it's being fitted by Gatwick Subaru, which always adds a bit for me anyway.

I do understand why people would think about that £30.00, but I reckon it's a good peace of mind thing.

Mate you are doing a good job :10: But at that price i will just be having the geo done with my dents.I have found 'Rear 22mm Anti-roll bar-X h/duty Blade adjustable SUBARU IMPREZA' for £135 inc vat and they are just down the road from me so think i will have a go at fitting myself.I am lucky that the last owner fitted the alloy links :doubleup:

People take note, this is being done at a main dealers so fitting prices for things are always more than local garages, but that is expected. All things considered the price for a classic means he is charging £50 labour to fit the parts as the parts are only £230 re Scoobyparts inclusive of VAT.

No complaints here, just that Im on sick pay and I have to watch and be careful with money.

All due credit to Worzel, he has done us and the club proud, he did not have to do this, but he is a top bloke and I speak for a lot of us when I say you are doing a blinding job and we should be proud of him. :doubleup: :doubleup: :doubleup:

Now worzel, go on your holiday, switch off about this and have a bloody good time mate or else :fight:
