SES Rolling Road Day - 29th Sept 2012
 

Proposal is to run a SES rolling road day at Surrey Rolling Road www.surreyrollingroad.com/ on Saturday 29th September.

I expect we will need a minimum of 8 - 10 cars to make this worthwhile, so I will start a list.

Price wil be confirmed at later date, expect to be around £35 per car.

I'll come along for a gander (and pizza) but probably won't put the car on the rollers, not had anything changed since it last went on!

If Simons there I might put mine on... Possible tweak, otherwise I will come up and watch.

Date of 29th September set up with SRR

Even if you haven't changed anything it's always a good idea to have a run to make sure it's fueling ok etc.

Will this be set up for 4 wheel drive only or can I bring my mk4 golf gt tdi along to smoke the place out?? :razz:

Simon doesn't work at weekends so very doubtfu that he would be there.

Will pop up and have a butchers , may even put the Clio on there :-)

Would love to make it to this but mine may still be in the body shop having some fresh paint! :0)

I'll probably pop along to meet some people and have a poke around some cars but mine will be on Charlies rollers in two weeks so I doubt i'll change anything by 28th.

Just got a 2002 wrx wagon as a daily driver, so better get a starting bhp figure down on paper.

is it possible to pay on the day ? as i dont have paypal due to my religion of not being shafted by the basterds !

I'm sure Scott will confirm, but SRR normally take all payments on the day, sure it will be fine to just turn up with cash :)

Pretty sure Charlie will be 'happy' with cash!

When I've done days there before, it's cash on the day. But make sure the agreed number of people turned up, as one forum day I went on 10 to 15 were supposed to go and 3 turned up!

Don't think charlie was very happy, understandably. if we are short on numbers I might be able to bring my golf r32 up as well if I get mot, tax and insurance sorted on it by then. Also got mate with Clio v6.

ok result ill book the day off my first ses meet if the car makes 200bhp i would be happy and if it wont then might have a run with the nos !!

got the day all booked off work touch wood the cars running that day !

what time is every one going up there and any 1 else driving up from burgess hill way as i dont know any 1 and will be a bit of a loan worrior

Not sure on times yet, but i'll be going from Burgess Hill. Might make sense for a few of us to meet up at Pease Pottage services and then run up there together.

Sounds like a good idea to see a base figure :)

I'll probably do it, as the car feels down on power at the moment, so will be interesting to see if something is up with it.

Too early to say a definate yes though at the moment
