The "Spitfires" were in fact the Blades acrobatic team, flying with the Vulcan. A guy I know won a passenger flight in one of the Blades aircraft, next to the Vulcan. The pilots are all ex-Red Arrows. Look em up on the web.

Have just put photos up.

You saw an excellent display Ian, with a great wing-over and plenty of growls and howls!!

Yeah it's Eastbourne Airshow this weekend. Saw a Vulcan yesterday at the Asda day and the most unique spitfire in the world apparently. The only one remaining that's in the same condition it left the workshop in all those years ago. Brings a tear to your eye seeing it fly knowing what they represent.....

The Vulcan you saw (XH558) was the only one in the world still flying too, so pretty unique as well ;)
