My new ride

I thought I would post some pictures of my98 No 112 limited edition Terzo not cleaned it as it has been raining up here since I picked it up on Monday I have fitted my front crystal lights while I'm trying to source new lamps for my morettes and fitted a hks dump valve . As you can see front splitter needs resprayed so that's on my next to do list complete front bumper respray .

+1 ;) keep the crystals they look really nice!

I like it a lot!
I'm not sure on the big scoop I would have to see it in the flesh!
I do know it will flow a lot more air than the standard classic one :ok:

time to get :polish:?

looks great seeing them both side by side. Great looking motor mate :-)

scotty 08-05-2014 12:53 PM

Guy coming all the way from Aberdeen to buy the silver lady and I've got a funny feeling I can fit brembos on the Terzo since the wheels are prodrive GB270 alloys ?

Same wheel on the RB320 and that has Brembos :ok:

Looks good, although I haven't warmed to the scoop personally. Seeing the two cars side by side really shows it up.

But I'm a fussy twat, so probably best to pay no attention!

Does look to be a nice purchase. My strong advice would be to do nothing that prohibits it going back to standard. A standard special edition will only attract a premium as numbers dwindle.

I prefer the crystal headlights over the Morettes, maybe I'm biased LOL. Can you whip the silver indicator bulbs out of your old one and swap them with the orange ones in your new one, gets rid of that little bit of orange on the front end then.

My plan is to buy a classic scoop and vent and a exhaust and other parts in the longer term for if I want to put it back to standard at least it will have parts to put back on .

RB320 is PCD 114 so different stud pattern.:oldman::-P

I know, we had this conversation in a different thread  :wedgie:

They're not going to have a different offset/clearance though :p

scooby doo 08-05-2014 04:21 PM

I reckon that's a very shrewd move. Have your fun in it, then ship it on for strong money when the time comes. :ok:

Well we will see what's lies ahead of me but going to have my fun with while I'm still young lol .

scotty 08-05-2014 06:30 PM

Just had a look and I recon there is about a 10mm gap between the alloys and the four pots so it might be a tight squeeze I think the only way to find out is get a brembo caliper to try it .

scotty 08-05-2014 10:01 PM

Hopefully the weather is good tomorrow so that it can the full once over with its first wash , polish and wax before I say good by to it for up to 6 months .

As you know the ST2s only just clear the 4 pots by a few mm, Scott tried an ST2 with Brembos and needed a 12mm spacer, have a measure with your old and new wheels, if there's less than 10mm clearance with your current wheels and 4 pots you'll struggle to clear Brembos without a spacer.

They might as the P-WRC PCD-100 wheel came with an ET46 for STi and an ET53 for WRX.

The problem area with Brembo's is not the face of the caliper but the inner edge/corner where the piston bulges the casting nearest the hub.

The style of the wheel in how the spokes flow out from the hub centre are the controlling factor.
The smaller the offset the more these spokes will be pushed out from the hub centre flange.
If the spokes naturaly flow out sharply then the offset it not so critical.
