British Rallycross Championship R6 2017 – Lydden Hill
It was a few weeks ago, but only just got round to uploading a few photos from Round 6 of the British Rallycross at Lydden Hill.

He has had such a long run without success I would love to see his persistence pay off and a win (or two) come his way. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4393/3...73729d7b_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4418/3...ea56533d_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4438/3...ae9cfbcd_b.jpg With his Fiesta prepared for use in France, Ollie O’Donovan was using his Focus for Lydden. Sadly a puncture ended any hope he had of winning. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4364/3...c815f5e4_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4433/3...f7b2846f_b.jpg Supercar engine porn. I was amazed just how far back they have managed to push the engine into the car. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4374/3...1cc2e46e_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4428/3...f428835d_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4382/3...6f01ca6d_b.jpg Chrissy Palmer once again dominated the RX150 buggies. Although other drivers have managed to challenge at individual events, Palmer is consistently fast and took another victory. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4422/3...90eed269_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4376/3...2397ca5e_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4385/3...560ee9b4_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4393/3...ef7ba6f9_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4437/3...31759c94_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4359/3...614433d2_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4333/3...4ec509e9_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4390/3...3c52788d_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4373/3...10f6d3d2_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4345/3...9f3379de_b.jpg Barry Stewart managed to hold off the pack of Escorts to win the Retro Rallycross final. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4334/3...aef07913_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4386/3...c06bddfd_b.jpg Despite some fierce competition Warren Scott managed to take the Lydden victory that had eluded him earlier in the year. With Godfrey finishing off the podium, the Championship standings have closed in and it could be an interesting end to the season! |
