Crowman 14-01-2012 10:44 PM

Nope
The P1 is an investment
Yes i do love the Spec C, but the P1 is going to be a long labour of love.

Crowman 14-01-2012 10:46 PM

Logging off SES now until the Spec C has sold

Why

The P1 is only an investment if you find another enthusiast.

It may a labour of love yes.

but you will constantly be having to spend money on it.

For what you have to spend on it you can easily get the spec C.

The P1 will never be able to be driven like you would like to with out spending £ ???s

It perhaps should be in a museum.

Like the McRae specials.

Scott.T 14-01-2012 11:04 PM

Is he still logged on..........hmmmmmmmmmm spec c at the ring.......... hmmmmmmmmmmm

Mmmmm 12k around the Ring or 15k ? Your choice. If Ron offerd me that deal that Spec C would be bought tomorrow mate. :EVO:

worzel 14-01-2012 11:25 PM

Martyn, when I think of the stuff you were looking at before you got the P1, that spec C is small beer! The amount of times you looked past better spec c's than that one

I really wish I had turned mine in for that orange RAR :drive:

If you dont, I may :?. Very tempting.

Gavsti555 15-01-2012 08:53 AM

I prefer the classic

Scott.T 15-01-2012 08:58 AM

Morning....hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......spec c.

Hongkongfooi 15-01-2012 09:47 AM

someone buy it on here!

Anger 15-01-2012 09:47 AM

If it was a 2.0 jdm spec c i would say buy.... But not now with that engine.... Took a bullet proof high revving engine out and replaced it with a lazy lower revving weaker engine... Madness

:agreed: making it not a spec c IMHO

C. J. 15-01-2012 10:59 AM

You can always buy it and change it back to a 2ltr for next to nothing .
I'd also take rons arm off and take the spec c :)

Tomma 15-01-2012 02:58 PM

I think he's been trying to sell the first one for a while, he was selling when i brought mine last march!

Spec C gets my vote!

AndyWRX 15-01-2012 05:02 PM

The spec c does look nice but i still prefer the shape of the classic imo

Nige 15-01-2012 05:14 PM

It's a spec c If like the add says it came through Litchfield you can bet it's a 2litre :EVO:

Greig 15-01-2012 11:40 PM

If you look at the eBay car details it's a 2 litre

majorscooby 16-01-2012 06:15 AM

P1 Prototype IMHO needs to be taken right back to standard, orig wheels as in promo shot's, engine steam cleaned, OE spec powder coat and Alochrome where required, no samco, no decat, no forge dv. Then start on the underside, to bring up to a OE standard concours (not bling-bling concourse). Then used little....that's the only way to maintain it as an investment.

It's a nice idea, but not a practical one if you want to use it and 'enjoy' it.
