House hunting

Didn't realise oh stressful it can be to look for a house big enough to be a family home to many out there but needs to the one that feels right if you know what I mean .

What are prices like up your way Scotty? A developer currently building on some farm land in my home town wants £330,000 for a 2 bed house, I’m sure it will be nice when it’s finished but that’s mad!

When I can afford to buy I’d like a garage with a nice house attached.

Be surprised how cheap our houses can be for example we are going to see a 3 bed semi with a big back garden nice front with driveway can build a garage at the back offers over 119,995 we also looked at nice 3 bed semi a few days ago about 2 miles away from us and sold for 130k but new builds can be mental money I prefer ex local authority as they have more space for less money and built properly .

That's one of the reasons I won't move nearer to Crawley Rob, gets more expensive as you get nearer. We're looking at the moment and one of the biggest issues is parking, we already have 4 cars and with Tom just over a year from 17 that could soon become 5 so need a garage and drive space with the addition of some on road parking for visitors.

A not that special 4 bedroom house just outside my close was up for £950k last month and has sold. How on earth can people afford that? Mines only worth about £350k maybe a bit more.

closer to london you get and if your on the main line in i.e uckfield, horsham, prices have been soaring for years, has forced a few people i no out, purely because rents are getting so high, and they cant afford it.

My little cottage In Bletchingley Surrey is two bed and worth about 360k, when you make the jump to 3 bed around here the prices start at just over 500k

Correct way round

House prices in this neck of the woods are really crazy. A 4 bedroom house with 3 out buildings 2 garages (1 double) and half an acre of land in Wales, cost less than a 2 bedroom flat where I live.
