Boost Issues X 2

Swapped the injector over on the bug, and installed a AutoMeter Gauge from the US, As I thought my cheapo had died. Turns out it hasn't.

My Idle Vac is only -5 rather than -17, and on boost it only hits just 8-9 psi.

Checked all my hoses, cant see any evidence of leakage. Any ideas?

And on the classic....

Idles fine, at -20 ( give or take reading error's ) and boost up to 7ish and starts to hesitate?

Again checked for leaks and cant see any evidence?

restrictor pill?

After swapping some pipes around on the classic, now seams fine, just the odd bit of hesitation, but if you keep your foot down, it drives through it.

Now the bug....

Before I gave up for the day, I pulled the vac pipe off the actuator, and it took off down the road like a rocket! Didn't even put my foot down as I assume it was running full boost and potentially turbo wrecking?

Classic symptom of faulty/clogged BCS??

Forgot to update this. Bug is sorted, boost hose had a tiny hole..

V1, Today I've swapped over the DV for another OEM one, swapped over the BCS for another one, went through the induction pipes one by one. The way the pipe under is intercooler bolts/fixes to the unit is poor. Made it air tight, there was a crack around the bottom of the right angle pipe that fixes to the turbo, changed that over.

Took it for a blast, pulls much better, gauge reads just over 10psi. But...when you lift off, judders and the gauge dropped below -20psi.

Still got a leak somewhere?
