can't see that link due to work PC restrictions, but i have used Forge, FK or Eibach spacers in the past with no problems as long as they are hubcentric. obviously don't forget to get longer studs/bolts.

I read that 5mm is ok without longer studs.
Previous owner has used universal ones and I can feel run out threw the steering wheel.
I'm not a fan of spacers but I do want to keep my oem prodrive wheels and brembo set up
My thinking with these is 56.1 bore and 5x100 they should sit nice and anodized black wont stand out either.

my spacers on the golf are hubcentric and have had no problems at all with them, i think they are 13mm though. i think you need 5 turns of the nut to be secure on the stud.

CJ might be able to ad advice.
