Handling for my 1998 UK turbo 2000

Hello All.
Firstly i apologise for asking a question you have all probably been asked and answered countless times before but here we go again. I want to improve the handling of my scoob which hasn't been touched at all. i know shocks and springs would be a good start ( well i think they will ) what do you people have on yours? my question is would the following be worth doing?

Strut Brace.
Polybushes.

Where are the best places to get these things? I'm on a bit of a budget due to getting a new house so finances are reasonably tight. What money am i looking at?
Also brake pads and discs. Grooved or drilled discs? what pads. I don't do track days ( yet )

Thanks.

Adjustable rear anti roll bar is usually a good mod on a classic along with uprated drop links.
Depending what your after a set of coilovers or some decent shocks and springs, maybe a P1 setup.
Probably worth saving the money up and getting a different brake setup rather than getting new discs and pads although godspeed were doing a deal with discs and uprated pads for around £100.
Sti strut brace is a good call also

Hi there

i would say as above plus this setup is mainly used

22-24mm rear ARB(anti roll bar)

Solid droplinks front and rear(Whiteline,Powerflex,CDF)

KYB shocks with Eibach springs(KYB AGX is good combo on classic too) or if budget allow BC,Apex coilovers

Brakes,OE4pots are OK on classic with good disc and pads(i was use before Drilled dics with EBC pads and i must say not impressed,DS2500 pads maybe will be better combo)

But still if budget allow Brembo from new age or K-sport is hard to beat, braided brake lines plus good fluid and you have nice combo, which will well perform on yours
