Small update for Battlefield 3 (PS3 version) to sort out the VoIP problems out today. Only takes a couple of mins at worst but is mandatory so will need to be done before you next play.

Yes. Using microphone was pointless before today as it just came out as garbled ****e on the other end. Doesn't matter if you don't use a mic I guess, but the update has to be done anyway.

Is there any cheats for this game?

There are some glitches that some people chose to exploit (at the risk of getting banned) but I don't think there are any cheat codes you can put in to unlock stuff etc.

What are you having trouble with?

I just wanted a better gun. I get shot once or twice & I'm dead. I shoot people a million times & they keep comming. :rofl:

Ah I see. Do the 'Best Friend Forever' assignment. You can check the details and your progress in the My Soldier menu. All you have to do is accumulate 10 revives and 10 heals (so needs to be done playing as assault class) and you unlock the FAMAS assault rifle which should help you rack up some kills. It is about the only gun you can unlock nice and quickly without having to get kills.

Otherwise make sure you get the objective, so arm/defuse if you play Rush or capture flags in conquest. You will earn XP and unlock weapons by doing that regardless of how many times you kill/get killed.
