Scrappy STi
After promising myself and my girlfriend that I probably wouldn't do much tinkering with the scooby ... LOL! Its all lies!
It has inevitably started.............. In late January I went from this. http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/t...t/IMG_7412.jpg To this. http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/t...y/DSC_0004.jpg About a week after getting her this went in. http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/t...y/DSC_0010.jpg Then I set about dealing with the rusty bolts, contrary to the forum name i cant stand rust even very mild stuff like this LOL! http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/t...DSC_0020_2.jpg Much better, marine grade stainless. http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/t...DSC_0022_1.jpg Gauges have also been purchased and will be up here shortly. |
Both look great, love the look of the dc5

God i'd love a DC5! I decided to do the same thing with my bug. The bolts holding the air intake were all rusted. Flipping things broke didn't they the moment i showed them a spanner. Got a wobbly intake now :(

Thanks for the offer CJ. Its finding the time to get out and tinker with it. Wedding arrangements are taking up all my time at the moment. I'll bare you in mind when i get round to it. Think i need to sort my brakes out first.

Do like the dc5. Good luck with the new project:ok:

Nice choices I like the GB270 spoilers and think they look quite tasteful on different models IMO.
