How much For general maintenance jobs.

Hi All

Car is an 04 impreza sti
What would be the general cost(per hour or per job) for the majority of jobs associated with servicing at an experienced garage like,
oil change
rear diff and gearbox oil change
Brake disc and caliper change
clutch and flywheel change
suspension mods and alignments.

Also any recommendations for local trusted garages around the sussex, surrey, kent border

Many thanks all

Oil change, gearbox oil change and rear diff oil change are all fairly simple jobs, probably around 1 hours labour plus cost of fluids and filter at most garages, wouldn't need to be Subaru specific for these items.

Discs and pads are a bit of a mine field on an Sti. Brembo callipers can be a nightmare if mounting bolts snap or you end up destroying the threads in the callipers themselves with seized bolts. I have known Subaru specialists to avoid quoting a basic disc and pad change because it could range from a simple 1 hour job to a 4 hour nightmare if the callipers require work for damaged threads.

Clutch and fly wheel is probably 6-8 hour job, some specialists opting to remove the engine rather then dropping the gearbox. Expect around £60/hour plus price of a new clutch and flywheel £400+. Also recommend changing the main crank shaft seal whilst at it for £10 more...

Suspension mods and alignment all depends on what mods you are after, again nuts and bolts can be your biggest pita on a Scoob.

Garage recommendations all vary, many opting for SMD in Newhaven who know their way around a Subaru.
