Laura's Fiesta

Well it's taken two days, 2 clays bars, lots of Detailer, snow foam, soap, and elbow grease not too mention two passes with the DA, menzerna sealant and some wax, but here she is looking shiny-er than it was:

Very nice.

I'd get that "P" plate off. I reckon that's more of a hindrance than a help. People see it as a weakness and a reason to be a twat!

Rdlangy1 10-07-2016 02:45 PM

:ok:

Red Baron 10-07-2016 04:39 PM

Very nice, and there was me complaining because I'd spent 4 hours on my wife's Fiat 500, I couldn't believe the dirt that came out of the flat white paint.

Both cars look great, good work chaps. Hope the other halves keep them clean!

scotty 10-07-2016 04:58 PM

Very nice but 2 clay bars what size were they extra mini lol .

Red Baron 10-07-2016 07:29 PM

The sign of a busy weekend

No - the car was that bad and the wheels needed claying too :ok:

A washing line full of microfibre clothes, shows a good days work.

Looking good :ok:

Should have left the tape on the fiesta... made it look like one of those old skool 3d pictures!

How did you manage that. It's been raining up until 1830 this evening.

Red Baron 10-07-2016 09:37 PM

Did it yesterday, those cloths have been out there since 9 this morning and they're still wet.

Ginola 11-07-2016 08:02 PM

Nice one both of you.. Laura's Fiesta is very tidy for a first car :)

Rdlangy1 11-07-2016 08:15 PM

Thanks Dave - had the parking sensors fitted today for her..

She's a nervous driver but I keep saying it takes time in the seat etc

I've just realised why there were brown streaks running down the side of the 500 when I clayed it, previous owner lived a few miles from the Tata steel works in Port Talbot.

Rdlangy1 14-07-2016 06:03 PM

Ahhhh!

Red Baron 14-07-2016 06:47 PM

The joys of Google maps and having the V5 turn up in the post today. If the guy worked at the plant as well it didn't stand a chance of staying clean. Can't really imagine a Welsh steel worker driving a Fiat 500 though.

Rdlangy1 16-07-2016 08:40 AM

Managed to get out again this morning to get some more layers of wax on the fiesta before the sun came out..

Gave it a snow foam then rinse and patted dry then waxed again...

Sprayed some water over to see some good beading IMO...

Laura's Fiesta

Looking good, a little too early for me! The neighbours would cut up the hose if I went out early with the pressure washer.

Rdlangy1 16-07-2016 10:28 AM

7am isn't early.................well not for me...luckily my neighbours are tolerable...

Banstead Stig 16-07-2016 12:06 PM

Very nice too. I love a good beading shot! :ok:

Mine are similarly tolerant. I'm often out early cleaning the cars or doing the garden and they've never grumbled.

scotty 18-07-2016 11:21 AM

Next time you polish the fez or scoob i think you should do it by hand and not use a DA
