Gearbox

Hi all, any suggestions for getting my 5th gear synchro sorted, I’ve called A&M gearboxes in Chelmsford, Essex as I saw a post that someone else had used them
and paid £250, I called and have been quoted £400 plus parts if I remove the box and deliver it or £850 plus parts if they carry out all the work. I’m near Gatwick.

If I was you just get another 5 speed and save up for a 6 speed

Bexhill Gearboxes in Hastings /St Leonards..

They've done mine.

Its not cheap though.

Last place I used for a Gearbox rebuild was AMG Services in Hastings, was a long time ago but couldn't fault them.
