nuts

Driving home the other day, pulled up at a junction hear a noise like a stone coming out of the disc anyway thought no more about it....drove to work next day Tues and the car didnt feel right. It was making a noise at the f/right like a wheel bearing droning. Anyway just happened to notice a missing wheel nut.......the stud has actually sheared off and every wheel nut was loose on every wheel.......Someone who shall remain nameless obviousely didnt tighten the nuts properly when they took their expensive wheels off when I bought it ! (Having said that should have checked them myself)

So on order from Mark at B&C are 5 new studs ........bearing in mind this things done a dyno run and some spirited driving since I've had it I shall be a regular checker of my nuts in future

So the moral of this story is always check your nuts.....

You can't beat tweaking your nuts to see if they are tight. :norty:

Good call though, it's always worth a little look when ever you check the oil, just to be safe :ok:
