Message from Olly Clark to the SES

RCM never involve themselves with forums as you all know.

I emailed Olly earlier today just to thank him for a great day and to say the lads had a great time.

He has asked me to pass his message on to the club, so here it is:-

Clive,

You just beat me to the email.

Well you summed up my thoughts exactly……What a top bunch. Proper geezers and it was honestly a pleasure to spend the time with them.
I haven’t shown anyone else the new car, and is the least I could do to show our appreciation for you Guys coming up, knowing full well they were genuinely all interested.

All the boys enjoyed having them here too, was a real pleasure, they ‘re all welcome anytime. Maybe put something together for middle of next year, or tie in with the Brands Hatch Time Attack round?

Please pass on our thanks to all, I would do it on line but you know I don’t post.

Kind Regards

Olly Clark

Director / Performance Sales

I should imagine they used the fan from the rolling road,

for an hour or 3.

Cool stuff.
Would be good to tie it in with another event say at Donnington or see what car shows they hold at Stanford Hall nowadays. Used to go there alot for Ford RSOC stuff (M1 J19).

BBQ ?....................if it's gas powered and you are going I will give it a miss mate !

If RCM knew about the condition and power of your sphincter I am assuming their reply would prove similar.

Nice thought though Martyn, but toooooooooo fookin risky.

(Insurances and all that)

Thanks for posting the message up Clive:ok:

We know Olly is aware of the comments etc etc passed on SES and i'm sure He and the team at RCM all know, how we all feel about the service they provided on the day. A few of us having experience of them as a business providing us a service prior to the day, we all agree that the manner in which they conduct themselves is second to none and the same reception given on Saturday, is given on a daily basis.

Its an honour for SES to be associated in some small way with RCM and a privelidge to be able to class Olly, Matt and the team as friends:doubleup:

We look forward to 2012 and RCM and SES combining to make a great summer event, of some description:10:

Roll on the 29th April and the unveiling of the Gobstopper2 at the first time attack event. Having RCM back at the forefront of time attack will be great for every motorsport enthusiast and something we've all been (and are still) waiting for................

Only thing missing on the new car is an SES sticker and Tax Disc holder:doubleup: Surprised they've over looked this modification as those who have them know they are good for at least an extra 50bhp:whistle:

All you would need to do is stand behind me with a sausage on a stick, and hey presto , done to perfection :-)

Oh , and I do mean 'a' sausage , not your man sausage :-)

Bigtel 12-12-2011 07:06 PM

Does anyone know if the new car is going to be called 'Gobstopper2' ?

The way Olly said 'I would like to show you some pictures of what people are calling Gobstopper 2' sounds like they have a different name for it to me.

IIRC the name Gobstopper was not their choosing.
IIRC it was one of the first magazine articles that quoted how it was GobStopping'ly well prepared/clean/gorgious. Probably got a copy of it somewhere, think it was jap Performance.

When I first heard some Woc'ers talking about the 'Gobstopper' at a meet a couple of years ago It took me a while to work out it was a car and not a sweet!!

You thought Sherlock Holmes was a block of flats in London until we told you different !

That's not true. I think you will find that is MB (Magazine Bull****) mate.

It was named Gobstopper to shut the gobs of everyone else.

worzel 12-12-2011 08:49 PM

Mate, top job in emailing olly, it's so good to see he enjoyed having us there, as much as we enjoyed being there! As has been said many times, it is a truly wonderful place to go as a scooby owner, they look after you so well there, nothing is ever too much for them. It is what sets them head and shoulders apart from any other engine builder / tuner / parts supplieretc! They are absolutely priceless IMHO!

Olly mentioned the brands hatch round of time attack last time Ron and myself were up there for the day with our stinky ringed fellow admin. I for one think that could be a fantastic day and a massive coup for SES going forward. We all know that RCM don't post in the forum environment and rightly so, so for SES to turn up en-mass with RCM would be huge for us.

I am so looking forward to the GS2 launch, that will be a fantastic day, I feel an overnighter coming on for that one :ok:

Roll on 2012

worzel 12-12-2011 08:53 PM

Then we have the BBQ idea.

Martyn would obviously be banned from any such occasions, that ****er is far too combustible to be anywhere near a naked flame, the methane producing stench infected ****er that he is!!!!!!

Do you think olly would entertain the idea of a summer BBQ trip? We would obviously take the gear and the grub!

Skullfudge 12-12-2011 08:57 PM

One is to assume the Crowman had been nosing around the shop before it was actually open !

Bottle it?

You should start up an airship business,

You wouldn't have to pay for any of the gases or fuel.:fart::fart:

Can you imagine pulling up at that particular fuel pump!

" yes please mate, fill her up, 20,000 litres of crowthane please............. Oh, do I get a free effluent air destroyer with that? "

Perhaps we should have a word with the chancellor,

and the Green Party,

I am sure we could tax Crowman for damaging the ozone layer,

with his green house gases.:fart::fart:

The best thing is, another thread has moved over to Martyn's rank arse, from something far removed from that, priceless

Where would you start taxing that disgusting stench trench? Who would want to monitor it too?

I suppose a non return gas valve set up could work! Would it be taxed per litre or by severity?

Just imagine if Martyns release valve ceased up.

It would be like watching,

The character in the James bond film that swallowed the air capsule.

Then went up in the air and exploded into a thousand pieces.

Bits of Crowman and ****e every where. :hitfan::hitfan::rofl::whistle::getmecoat:

Skullfudge 12-12-2011 10:24 PM

PMSL !.............. poor Crowman

I achieved a continuous fart from the bottom stair to the top stair in my house once, whilst walking at normal speed (passing the mother in law who was coming down the stairs at the time), BUT I was ill.

I thought that was an epic until I heard Sonic Sphincter Saturday and realised I was small fry !
