Those who have been before will probably have most of this stuff already. For those who have not been before, the below list is invaluable. Most of the items in the "For The Car" section are actually law in Europe, so I would advise that you make sure that you do / have these things arranged.

I'm sure that most of you who have been before will have this stuff, but it's well worth double checking, just in case. Anything that you haven't got can be purchased at places like Halfords.
BLUE are the ones that are Law in Europe! Please remember that the breathalysers are a requirement in France .
But apparently there are no penalties for not having one

I may be able to sort you some spare radios how many will you want I think I can get hold of 10 or so

Me and a few friends always carry these in our glovebox in case we end up having an impromptu drive out somewhere. Cheap as chips, brilliant battery life & range.

Retevis H-777 Radio Kit

One unexpected bonus is a lot of restaurants use them, speeds service up a bit!

It’s not a huge range but I took a couple last year and I could talk to chris when he was a couple of miles away

Hey guys, wanted to check-in and see if I'd be able meet up with you all en-route like I did last time. I just tried the link in the first post for the route and it's not working - I just get a blank AA map search (and I've tried 3 different browsers and two PCs).

If any of you are using Waze for navigation please PM me if you wouldn't mind swapping details then I can see your progress, if not I can provide someone my mobile number and they can message me instead.

BTW, one extra item I recommend for the check list, is a "Rescue Sheet" for your car - it will help the rescue services know where to cut/isolate things should they need to cut you out of your car.

This is where I was waiting the last time: https://goo.gl/maps/BF5eTTHYey42 it's a short distance after you turn off the A60 onto the A1

Sure, will PM it to you.

I just seen you updated the route link, but none of them go past the same place. Which services in Belgium do you stop at as maybe I can go there or close by?

Shame you're not going through Luxembourg as our fuel is so much cheaper right now. 98 is €1.31 here https://www.acl.lu/Mobilite/Informat...ants-en-Europe

BIG"E" 24-05-2018 07:51 PM

Would anyone like any octane booster ??
