Looking good James,

In laymans terms what have you had done?

Anger 27-01-2011 09:47 PM

The green hose was lying around and will be changed when i have funds, dont forget my track wheels are that green lol

Greigs 2.1 with MD321X, bigger injectors, swirl pot, bigger fuel pump to run along side the one already fitted, got rid of the A/C and a few more special bits Stew did

jura11 27-01-2011 09:52 PM

I like the green hose, manifold looking tasty....

Jura

BIG"E" 27-01-2011 09:56 PM

Not sure if ive missed something here,

but have you now got a spare engine?

Ps. nice figures,

with all the big powered cars going to 'The Ring' I might have to leave on the Thursday..

Anger 27-01-2011 09:57 PM

I sold the 2.5 last month mate

BIG"E" 27-01-2011 10:03 PM

I thought you might be going prepaired for Germany LOL.

What is the torque figure ? On the 2.1.

midlife2 27-01-2011 10:07 PM

see its running over 2 bar boost. When Simon mapped my 2.1 he only took it to 1.8

Anger 27-01-2011 10:07 PM

437 from memory

worzel 27-01-2011 10:10 PM

Fantastic job James. :10: :10:

You did well keeping it a secret mate. I have been itching to find out the results since you told me what you were doing a couple of weeks back.

And for what it's worth, I like the green filter hose. :ok:

midlife2 27-01-2011 10:12 PM

I should have got a V

Anger 27-01-2011 10:13 PM

Ive had two T's now and only changed as this one fell into my lap :)

worzel 27-01-2011 10:16 PM

I bet there will be no shortage of people wanting to be wingman for Germany now!

midlife2 27-01-2011 10:18 PM

Do you know if there is much of a lag difference between the t and v?

Looking at the graph, the V on a 2.1 spools faster than my T did on my 2.0, Charlie said it spooled 800-1000rpm faster on the 2.1 to his 2.0

midlife2 27-01-2011 10:24 PM

What about the t and v turbos on the 2.1?

Anger 27-01-2011 10:29 PM

Being bigger it will always spool later i guess, this dosnt feel laggy to me, coming from a 2.5 it hasnt the low power but when on boost forced me much more into the seat

jura11 27-01-2011 10:30 PM

Hi James i still think bigger engine, better spooling,i'm still learning....

Jura

Anger 27-01-2011 10:37 PM

The 2.1 revs a lot faster than the 2.5

midlife2 27-01-2011 10:41 PM

Any idea what the going price of a 2nd hand MD321T is with 3000 miles on it?

jura11 27-01-2011 10:51 PM

I was looking for T few weeks ago,but after few weeks i fed up...
Price for T is normal around £700-£800 but i think you will sell for £800 without any problem

Jura

Anger 27-01-2011 10:57 PM

Sold mine for £850 with about 11,000 miles on it

midlife2 27-01-2011 10:59 PM
