Prodrive Bilsteins OR KYB AGX

Decisions, decisions.......
I can get a set of Silver Prodrive Bilsteins or a set of Red KYB AGX shocks for approx the same price.
Now the Billie's are going to be top quality and are part of the suspension upgrade fitted by Prodrive. Prodrive then fit Eibach springs (which I already have).
BUT
The KYB AGX are top adjustable, whereas the billies are not.....

and before you say it...no I don't want coilovers.
Was tempted with some TEINs but after seeing a few rusty old sets on ebay, decided that the quality is not upto much.
Whats the point of a coil over if the threads rust up so easily.
Plus alot of people complain the springs can rattle over rough surface.....not what I want when they are going to cost £700 to buy plus approx £300 to setup.

If you go for the adjustable type,

How often will you actually adjust them and when. ???

Worth a look here Scott

Looks like the KYB AGX has been discontinued.
Only shock from them now is an Excel-G which is not adjustable :(

Another kick in the teeth for those of us not wanting to fit rattley old coilovers.

i'm looking at the Ultra-SR KYBs to replace mine if i don't get a oe set refurbed.

Nige - any more info? I've looked at the Exe-TC website and it looks like they're all competition/track use setup only (including WRC and S2000  )

they also look really expensive :( do they do a decent road setup then?

EXE TC coil over suspension
Sensitive suspension allows the shock and spring to control the loads instead of the tyre, giving you more confidence in the chassis balance, superior grip and dramatically reduced tyre wear. We can now transfer this understanding and knowledge into your chassis by upgrading your suspension, allowing you to brake later, carry more speed through the corner, accelerate earlier, and reach your top speed quicker.
