added myself to the list:five:

Red Baron 18-11-2016 08:24 PM

So that's what's replaced the Megane, see a couple of others have signed up as well

Steve_PPP 19-11-2016 09:37 AM

We're on the list (Claire and Ellie coming too).

Noticed Bigemp, Wagon_Si, CJ on the list as well. Should be a good morning out.

NL03Scooby 19-11-2016 10:46 AM

Never been to one of these Pistonheads meets, is it a similar format to a Goodwood Breakfast Club meet?

Pretty much. Slightly later start for the PH meets (08:30 compared to 7am for the last breakfast club meet!).

PH are running a trackday at Goodwood on the Saturday too, for anyone that's bored and wants to watch :)

Have put myself on the list, see what it's all about.

Not a Diesel!!! 19-11-2016 09:45 PM

On the list also.

Red Baron 19-11-2016 09:51 PM

Having started this it's been pointed out that it's my sister in laws birthday and we may have plans.

It's like a Goodwood Breakfast Club but there's no theme to these.

Consti 20-11-2016 10:13 AM

I'll go and have a look as well.

I am also on the list.

Perhaps we could have a meeting..

Moley_WRX 21-11-2016 07:40 PM

Impressive!

Yeah, this will be perfect!

Might be a bit harsh on the fingers cleaning the car the day before though...!

Banstead Stig 06-12-2016 08:30 AM

I've not been to a PH thing for over a year. Do they still e-mail beforehand with a pass?

I haven't seen anything yet, so just wondered if that was riggt or if I should get in touch with someone about it.

Steve_PPP 06-12-2016 09:16 AM

On past events they've emailed only a few days beforehand, and several times there's been issues with people not getting the emails as well.... if I get anything i'll let you know but wouldn't be worried until Thursday/Friday.

Banstead Stig 06-12-2016 12:43 PM

Thanks, that's helpful to know.

Steve_PPP 08-12-2016 12:40 PM

Just noticed on the thread for this event on the Pistonheads forum that the email with the entry logo to print out will be sent tomorrow (Friday).

Hopefully before 4pm as I don't have a printer at home anymore and i'm leaving work early

Red Baron 08-12-2016 01:17 PM

Same as you Steve, problem is I'm not in work at all tomorrow.

Happy to print you one off :)

Steve_PPP 08-12-2016 09:22 PM

Thanks mate, might do. Hopefully they'll get the email sent out tomorrow morning :)

Banstead Stig 09-12-2016 12:19 PM

E-mail has just arrived.

It's from a chap called Jack Mansfield, just in case it finds its way to anyone's spam/junk folders.

Steve_PPP 09-12-2016 01:24 PM

Yep, I got it too and the pass printed off. :drive:

The forecast is looking good.

Are you going Red Baron ? ?

Red Baron 09-12-2016 07:33 PM

Should be, not sure what time yet though, depends if I have to drop the daughter into work in Battle or not.

I'll text you tomorrow Mr E, what's Scott up to?

tbtstt 10-12-2016 09:46 AM

Not 100% sure I'll be there yet, but hoping to pop down to Goodwood in the morning then head back to Cobham for the Surrey Scoobies meet at lunchtime.

That's my plan too. :ok:

Not a Diesel!!! 10-12-2016 06:39 PM

Heading across tomorrow from Worthing.

Banstead Stig 11-12-2016 01:53 PM

Saw quite a few of your cars, but not many of you!

I think I caught a fleeting glimpse of Steve, but I would have had to make a slightly overenthusiastic pursuit to say hello, so decided to preserve my dignity... especially as I wasn't 100% certain it was you.

Met another FSTi owner, which was nice.

Red Baron 11-12-2016 05:16 PM

Was a nice way to spend a Sunday morning, didn't take any photos as left that to our resident expert. Couldn't believe how much the temperature dropped when the sun disappeared.

Car has gone back in the garage looking like this:

Will give me something to do over Christmas.

Sorry mate, i didn't spot you! Met up with Dave & CJ, and bumped into Si (Clarke), Scott & Shane briefly too. Completely missed Ian though! (sorry E!)

Nice morning and Ellie enjoyed it too (mainly the open space to run around in I think!). Agree with Shane, was lovely until the cloud/mist came in and it got cold again.

Got home and sun was still out here so swapped the scoob back onto its PFF7s and slightly more winter friendly tyres :)

Haha, you'd have stood no chance of seeing me... at least not when I saw you that is.

Your car looked very smart.

I cleaned mine last night, but by the time I got there it was pretty filthy again.

Not a Diesel!!! 11-12-2016 08:15 PM

Some nice cars. I liked the 2 clio's with Megane turbo engines. Also the FQ360 with Seats that were just sheaths of plastic like something from a Caterham.

Also how great the Mk2 Focus RS looks compared to Mk3.

I like cars where someone has put in the effort to find , maintain & modify an older car rather than say walk into a showroom with a big wad of cash or sign up for a Mortgage worth of PCP.

Banstead Stig 11-12-2016 08:48 PM

Was it the red Evo on the main straight with those seats?

tbtstt 12-12-2016 08:48 AM

I failed miserably: I didn't make Goodwood or the Surrey Scoobies meet. I fear I am now perilously close to stealing Banners title as the cancellation king. ;)

Look forward to seeing your pictures from Goodwood so I can see what I missed!

Perilously close... face it, the title is yours!

The King is dead. Long live the King!

That would be my friend Rich's Evo, seats are surprising very comfy

I knew I recognised the chap from somewhere. That must be it.

He was behind me on the drive in... until the Stiglet was sick and I had to pull over!
